It was the first show day, they were somewhere north in the east coast. Autumn woke up before Josh, and she didn't want to wake him up yet so she crawled out of the little bunk bed as quitely as she could. She made her way to the front launch, the bus was still moving but not as fast as it was during the night.
She felt cold so she put on the hoodie that was laying on the couch, she opened the blinds and outside she saw, or at least from the inside it looked like a snow storm. She knew it might snow a bit in some places, but this was more than just a bit. Autumn felt cold only looking at it. She looked at the time on the microwave. It was only 8am, she would usually try to go back to sleep. But to be honest sleeping two people in a bunk is uncomfortable and the bus moving wasn't making it any better.
She made herself a cup of coffee, it didn't taste as good as she would've liked. But when they were at the venue she would make Josh take her to a coffeeshop and get some real coffee. Until then she just sat in the big hoodie and watched whatever was on the TV.
A couple hours later Dan, the drummer, and Max, the guitarist joined her on the couch. They looked like they actually got sleep, Autumn hadn't even bothered looking in the mirror, she knew she probably was a mess.
"Sleep good?" Dan asked and looked outside the window, he made a face and groaned. "Oh no"
Max didn't say anything, he just scratched his head, he wasn't a morning person huh?
"No, I don't know how you guys sleep so well, when the bus hits a bump I feel like the whole world is ending!" Autumn said and laughed, Dan laughed too and shook his head.
"We've done this a few times. You'll get used to it at the end of the week, just wait and see" he smiled.
Around 11 the rest of the band and crew woke up, just in time for the bus to get to the venue. Josh was the last to wake up. He still looked tired though. But he had changed into his jeans and a white shirt.
"Has anyone seen my black hoodie? It's cold as fuck" he mumbled he said as he rubbed his eyes and sat down next to Autumn. He looked at her and pointed at the hoodie she was wearing. "Hey, that's mine!"
"It was on the couch" Autumn said, she was starting to take it off but Josh raised his arm to stop her.
"Don't, it looks better on you anyway." he smiled.
Matt made a noise in disgust and rolled his eyes
"You two are too much, just go out and get coffee for us all, would you?" he said and waved his hands. Josh nodded and pulled Autumn up from the couch and told her to change into something warmer than pajama shorts, but he told her to keep the hoodie on.
They walked off the bus and they were planning on taking the front way. Seeing as it was only 11, it was still early.
"Do you think anyone will be queuing already?" Josh asked, he was wearing a grey beanie and a red jacket. It looked good on him, but then again he could wear a chicken suit and Autumn would still think he looked cute.
"Maybe?" Autumn shrugged, she knew there would be people outside already. She herself had gone to shows this big. She once started queuing at 8am to get barrier spot. But she didn't wanna say that to Josh, he might find her weird or something. Josh made a noise in a agreement, he intertwined their hands and they walked around the building to get down town.
And just as Autumn had predicted there were people standing and sitting outside. They hadn't seen them yet so Josh tried to hurry up. There weren't a lot of people yet, maybe around 20.
But the couple weren't to lucky, as they were walking past them a few of the people screamed and yelled his name.
"Should I?" he asked Autumn and she nodded. She didn't want him to ignore the dedicated fans for her sake. "Thanks I love you" he gave her a kiss on the cheek and hurried over to the people. The fans stopped yelling when he cam closer.
When Josh had finished taking pictures with people and talking a bit to them he hurried back to Autumn, who had been playing on her phone the whole time. Trying ignore how she was unable to feel her feet.
"Thanks for waiting, ready to get something hot?" Josh smiled at her and intertwined their fingers. Autumn gave him a confused look but a smiled played on her lips.
"But you're already here?" she said and laughed. Josh shook his head and nudged her side. "I'm sorry, I'm cold and tired."
It took the couple about 10 minutes to get to the coffee shop, and when they entered they were hit by a smell of warmth and amazing coffee. The café was decorated for christmas, with lights, fake snow and santa in the window. They were playing holiday music and Autumn danced along to the cheerful music. Josh rolled his eyes at her and told her to stop.
"Why?" she smiled and continued. "It's the holidays! Get in the spirit! Dance!" (A/N: I KEEP WRITING HOLDIAYS SHOOT ME IF I DONT EDIT ONE RIGHT)
"Charming lady you got" the cashier said and nodded towards the dancing Autumn. Josh nodded and ordered drinks for the other guys and crew.
"That's a lot of drinks" the guy making them said as he handed the couple the last cup. "Are you planning on feeding a army or something?" He joked.
"No, just a tour bus filled with tired men" Autumn said and took the coffee cups.
The couple left the coffee shop and entered the cold weather. This time they took another way back to the bus. It might seem a bit egoistic of Josh to not meet his fans.
They finally got on the bus and placed the cups down on the table in the front launch.
"You're angels" Max said and took a big sip of his caramel latte, which 'isn't a girly drink!!'. Autumn shrugged her jacket off and sat down next to Josh. She cuddled into his side and watched whatever was on the TV.
And that's basically how the band spend the rest of the day.
