"Good night Dan" she replied and closed her eyes. She fell asleep shortly after, and this time she stayed asleep the whole night. That was something she wasn't used to, she usually woke up in the middle of the night, even when Dan was over.
The sun shined through the blinds and right into Autumns eyes.
"What the snicker doodle.. Why?" she took her hand up to sheild her eyes. Wait, why did I just say snicker doodle.. What even is a snicker doodle?
Autumn checked the time on her phone, it was 6.45, it was a good time to wake up, she also noticed that she had a few messages and stuff to read thorugh. So she stayed in bed and read them. It was mostly Sara asking more about the concert and what she should do during it.
Autumn had responded with "Stay on side stage, sing along, enjoy it. I know you will"
She read through her timeline on Twitter and then she got up to take a shower. Today she felt better than she had in a long time. She looked in the mirror, which showed that her hair didn't agree with her mood. It was all tangled up and looked very bad. The color was fading in places and her roots were showing, her ends were getting bad. It was all because of how stressed she has been, and how she hasn't been treating her body well.
Ok I really need to get a time at a hairdresser soon.. She thought and hopped in the shower. She started humming Blink 182. She wished she lived in England so she could attend Reeding & Leeds and see them live. But no, she lives on the other side of the world. And she doesn't think her parents would like it if she went there.
She got out of the shower, tried her self off and started working on her hair. She decided to straighten it, it would look best in this state. When she was done with her hair she went on to her face and make up. She kept it clean and natural, a bit of eyeliner and blush.
Autumn walked back into her room and picked a outfit, she still had a good amount of time to pick a nice one. She finally choose a black, wavey dress with floral print on it that went just above her knees, and a pair of black knee high socks. She paired it with a pair of boots and a scarf since it was a bit cold outside.
Autumn walked down to the kitchen and got herself a cup of coffee. Her parents were obviously not home, so she sat at the kitchen island and checked her phone. She wasn't hungry, so she didn't eat anything.
A car horn shouted from outside and Autumn grabbed her bag and walked out the door. Sara was waving at her from her car.
"Good morning!" she said when Autumn entered the car. "Did you sleep well?"
"Actually, yes. I did." Autumn said and checked how she looked in the mirror. "how about you?"
"That's nice, yeah I slept ok" Sara answered. Their small talking continued all the way to school.
It was a dull day, the sky was gray and looked very sad. But the trees were colorful.
It's kinda funny, how the leaves and the grass is so beautiful right before it dies. Maybe people are like that.. Autumn thought as the two got out of the car and walked pass people in the parking lot.
They walked past the teachers parking spaces, most of the teacher were already inside. But one was not, he was standing there, talking to some students about who knows what.
Autumn couldn't really look away or focus on what Sara was talking about. And as on comand he looked to his right, he gave her a small smile, which she returned.
