I jolted awake and screamed my brothers name loud enough for the people I was oblivious too, to hear me.

I sat there drenched in sweat from the nightmare I had just had. The scenes from last night just kept playing over and over in my head. Fresh tears leaked from my eyes. As I lay there basically balling my eyes out, I heard it, footsteps down the hallway on the other side of the door.

"What the . . ." Was the only thing I could say as I looked around the room. When I woke I was so traumatized, I was completely oblivious to my surroundings.

I was laying in a room with just a single bed with white walls surrounding me and my first thought was . . . Why the H. E. Double hockey sticks was I in a hospital room.

I quickly got up and hid behind the door trying my best to remain un-noticed as some-one slowly opened the door. He was about my age wearing a white T. and military pants with black boots. His hair was white blond and he had blue eyes with a few freckles.
( Picture of him below. . . ~ )

"What are you doing miss?" He asked while smirking and raising an eyebrow.

I-I . . . I-I'm U-Um . . . W-Well I'm just enjoying t-this um d-door? . . . " I stuttered, mentally slapping my forehead for stuttering in front of this stranger.

He chuckled slightly. It was a deep yet friendly chuckle, which was particularly mesmerizing.

He turned around and motioned for me to follow him out of the room. After standing there like an idiot for about 20 seconds, I decided to just follow him. Hey, it had to be better than being stuck in this tiny room right? Or at least . . . I hope . . .

We walked down a series of hallways until we finally reached two large metal doors.

"W-Where are we g-going?" I mumbled quietly hoping that he wouldn't here me.

I guess luck just wasn't on my side.

"You'll see" he responded

"Well that makes me jump for joy!" I said rather sarcastically, unconsciously ceasing my stuttering.

"Ready?" He asked with a slightly evil smile on his face.

"Huh? Wha-" was all i got out before being pushed through the the doors.

"What was that fo-what in the word? I said as I looked around. To my astonishment this place, which was outside, was shocking. There were maybe 3,000 people sitting and standing on the grass around me.

This place was about fifty acres of green grass that stretched out far beyond my view.

"What is going on?" I questioned him as if I'd know him from sometime before now.

He just smiled and motioned for me to join the rest of the people crowding around.

I made my way to the front row of people that were crowded around a 'platform' and were cheering for something.

When I finally got to the front I was greeted with an unholy sight . . .

There was an Angeloid strapped up to a wooden stake. It was a female and it was crying for some reason. No-one else seemed to notice that this thing was crying and I thought ... These creatures of sin its-self can not have emotions. Can it? No, they can't they murdered my entir- . . .

My thoughts were 'rudely' interrupted by a mans voice.

"Many of you are wondering why you are all here in a strange place. Well look around you. There are about 5,000 of you. This is all that is left." Mourners erupted trough out the crowd at that last sentence. "Silence!" With that everyone's murmuring abruptly stopped. " As I was saying, this is all that is left . . . Of the human race" Everyone's gasps echoed around as me as the  people were not wanting to believe this was happening.

"Yes, I know you all have questions but that will have to wait. We are going to divide you into seven sectors. There will be a test to determine what sector you will belong to and each sector will have different responsibilities."He paused before continuing. "These jobs will be what you will be doing until we win this war!" He said confidently then pointed to the Angeloid.

"The war against these creatures!"
