Another Two Became One
"Omg!! Yes yes yes yes yes !!" came the excited screams from Starfire as Robin had gotten down on one knee out in the flowered garden and proposed to his beloved of 3 years.
"About time man!" came the voice of Cyborg who had heard the commotion from inside the T Tower and came outside to investigate.
Robin slipped on a small band of silver with 3 diamonds onto her left ring finger. Her green eyes large and full of joy.
"I'm sorry Star it's not big like you deserve but-"
"Robin, it's not the size of the ring that matters. You picked it out and it is the beautiful. I love it and I love you!" she kissed him passionately on the lips.
They walked back, hand in hand, stones glistening in the soft afternoon light. The sky was clear and it was a beautiful Spring day.
Starfire was in a flowing yellow dress and white sandals. Robin in cargo shorts and a blue polo, they were an adorable couple. They decided to go out for the evening to celebrate their engagement. Cyborg was planning on taking Bee out for a nice dinner. Raven came out into the common room wearing a dark blue spaghetti straped dress and black flats. No makeup and her hair down. Garfield was in awe. He was dressed in a black shirt and dark jeans. Taking her arm, they walked out from the tower to the park. He wanted to take her on a moonlit stroll.
The boys wanted to meet at the same place to surprise the girls with their idea. They were meet at the local ice cream shop, each couple already had dinner plans, around 8. It was 7:55.
Robin and Star, Cyborg and Bumblebee were there sitting at the table as Garfield and Raven came walking up. The couples grabbed milkshakes as the boys, who were all too excited, kept giggling.
Finally Bee spoke up
"What in world has gotten into you fools?!"
Laughing Cy looked at Beast Boy who looked at Robin and all three sneered.
"OK OK alright we will tell you."
The girls stopped sucking on their straws and listened.
"Girls we decided we are going to leave Jump City for two weeks and go on a much needed vacation." Exclaimed Cyborg.
"We decided to take you ladies to Hawaii!" Robin proclaimed. He couldn't wait to Star's reaction as a larger than life smile appeared on her face.
Garfield turned to Raven who sat with a grin on her face.
"Are you excited Rae?"
"I cannot wait! When do we leave?"
"In a week." Answered Robin.
"The sand, the tropics, the beauty!" Starfire was in a mild shock of excitement.
Bee hugged Cyborg and they were chit chatting about the site seeing.
"Oh my goodness this will be fun!" Raven said turning to Gar.
"Yea I get to finally see you in a bikini!" Winked Garfield.
"Dork!" She laughed. "You have seen me fully naked. What's the difference now?" She smiled as he gave her his smile as his fang protruded out from his bottom lip.
The girls planned one the following day to go clothing shopping for the trip. The couples had gotten back late and Garfield was laying on their bed, in lounge pants, flipping through the cable channels.
Raven was beside herself as she rumbled through her closet. She didn't have many dressy items. A few pair of shorts, a pair of sneakers, the flats she worn to dinner/ice cream. Most of her attire was dark, very few pieces light colored. She decided when the girls went shopping, she'd get a few articles lighter in color for the tropical weather they'll face in the coming few weeks. She couldn't hide her delight. She read about tropical places and always wanted to see them in person.
"What are you guys going to do while us girls are out?" she asked Garfield.
"Probably go pick out some cutesy clothes, awe at guys and look at shoes" He mockingly joked at what girls supposedly do out in public with their friends.
Getting that look from Raven.
"For real though probably get a few things, I do need some new trunks. Maybe grab lunch with you guys. I don't know. Where ever else Robin drags us."
He did have one place in mind, but didn't dare tell her. Only Cyborg knew what he wanted to do.
