Only cause you saved me (A Hawkeye Imagine)

“CLINT!” you screamed into the phone. “WHATS WRONG?” He asked, voice filled with sharpness from worry. “I NEED YOU PLEASE COME HOME QUICK!” you screamed. The phone went dead. He jumped into the car, and sped down the street. Your house was about 10 minutes away normally, but Clint managed to shave off Seven minutes and make it in a measly 3. He threw open the door to your flat, cross bow raised. Everything was trashed couch cushions thrown half way across the room, picture frames smashed on the floor, the mirror on the wall lay in shards. “I’M IN THE BEDROOM! PLEASE HURRY!” you screamed, tears pouring down your face. Clint looked and carefully yet quickly, made his way down the hallway into your bedroom, dodging debris and covering his back too. The bedroom door was flung open, and there were shards of glass and pottery lying at the bottom. Clint stormed in to see you wrapped in a blanket cocoon on your bed crying your eyes out. “WHERES THE INTRUDER?” Clint yelled over your balling. “ON THE WALL!” you wailed. “The wall…” he muttered, dropping his bow and looking around. “Where?” he asked puzzled. “Right there” you croaked, pointing at the far wall. Clint looked over at the small black spec that had caused him to almost crash on his way here. It was a tiny black spider, smaller than a 2 year olds pinkie finger. He picked it up and walked over to the open window. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” you roared. “ARE YOU SICK IN THE HEAD?” Clint set the spider on the window sill and shut the window. “You trashed our house, and stopped me from shopping for a ring for a spider” he asked scarily calm. “Umm ya” you said nervously, then after thing for a second retorted with. “You were ring shopping?” Realization hit Clint like a ton of bricks, he had sold himself out. “Umm yeah I was shopping for a wedding ring” he said awkwardly. The breath was knocked right out of you. “So I know this is kind of…I don’t know not romantic at all but will you marry me?” He asked dropping to his knee. “Yes!” you cried, “but only cause you saved me.”
