Natalie woke up panting and crying.  "W-What the hell was that about?" she whispered to herself.  She shook her head and rubbed her eyes.  It was just a dream.  Everything was fine.

Alexander spun around to see Rex standing at his side.  "Can I help you?" Alexander said with a glare.  Instead of replying, however, Rex returned the glare and walked off.  "What... What's his problem?" asked Victor.

Alexander shrugged.  "The special snowflake seems to have a problem with everything I do," he said.  Victor chuckled.

"Hey... Can I have a turn with Natalie tonight?" Victor asked.  "No," Alexander  answered coldly.  However, he noticed Rex was staring him down from across the Dream Room.  Alexander rolled his eyes. "Yes..." he mumbled.  Victor smiled. "Thank you..."

It was daytime in the human world, therefore the only dreams that were at work were the ones who supplied daydreams for humans.

Nightmares and Dreamers walked aimlessly around the Dream Room, making conversation amongst each other.  Dreamers and Nightmares kept their distance from each other.

While walking around the room Alexander looked over the heads of all the Nightmares and over to the Dreamers.  He thought they were obnoxious, with their happy go lucky attitude and colorful character.

As his eyes glided over all the Dreamers, one girl in particular stood out to him.

Glitter laid lightly on her cheeks.  Her hair was cut into a pixie cut that suited her delicate facial features.

Unlike every other Dreamer, this girl did not send him into a spiraling pit of irritability caused by a Dreamer's happy-go-lucky attitude.  Instead, looking at her brought a smile to his face.

Wait, what...?  No.  This girl was a Dreamer.  He was a Nightmare, who genuinely disliked Dreamers.  So, how, even in the slightest, could he possibly like a Dreamer?

Alexander shook his head.  "Alex," came a voice.  Yes, something to distract him from his confusion.  Victor.  "Yes, Victor?" Alexander replied.  "Why... Are you looking at the Dreamers?" Victor asked.

Alexander glared at his brother.  "What does it matter to you?" With that, Alexander stormed off.
