At work, Natalie was dying to go home.  She sat down and, out of concern, he friend sat next to her.  "Natalie, what's wrong?" she asked.  Natalie shook her head.

"Mandy, all I want is to go home so I can go to sleep and see my boyfrie-," Natalie froze.  She had promised herself she would never let that slip.

"Natalie... What?" Mandy asked.  Natalie shook her head vigorously and stood up.  Mandy pulled on her arm and yanked her back down.  "What the hell, Natalie," Mandy said.

"L-Let me go!  You'd never understand!" Natalie yelled.  Annoyed, Mandy let go.  Natalie ran out of the building.  "Something's wrong with her head..." Mandy sighed.

Natalie sat on the ground outside, her back propped against the cold brick wall.  A light drizzle fell from the sky.  However it was just what she needed to cool down.

She was infuriated at herself for letting anything slip out of her mouth.  And, knowing Mandy, she'd go off telling everyone she was a psycho bitch.

Holding tears inside her eyes, she gathered herself up, held her chin high... And went home.

She couldn't bear to face Mandy after she'd said something like that.  She was to go right to sleep when she got home.

Alexander was done sulking.  Perhaps it wasn't so terrible to interact with a Dreamer.  He walked over and sat down as he had previously.  Stellablue soon took notice of his presence, and rushed over meet him.

"Alex-," she began eagerly.  But Alexander put his hand up.  She stopped and waited for whatever he had to say.

Much to Stellablue's confusion, Alexander smiled.  "Tell me about yourself, Blue," he said.  "U-Uh..." she stammered.  "What do you wanna know...?" she asked.

"What's your favorite color?" he asked.  "...I-It's blue..." she said.  Alexander chuckled.  "Why would I expect anything else?" he said.  Stellablue was too confused and nervous to say anything.

"What, uh..." Stellablue swallowed her nervousness.  "What's yours?" she asked.

Alexander's gaze was distant.  His eye's never met Stellablue's but his ears took in every one of her words.  "Black," he replied.

"I guess that's fitting..." Stellablue muttered.  This time, Alexander looked at her.  "Hmm?" he asked.  Stellablue flushed a bright red.  "N-Nothing!  Nothing, aha..." she said.

Slowly, Alexander raised his hand.  He reached for Stellablue, wanting to caress her face, to see what she felt like.  However, upon noticing him, Stellablue shuddered away.

Alexander's smile faded and he looked away.  "I apologize, Blue," he muttered.  Stellablue nodded quickly.  He stood up, keeping himself turned away from her as he walked away.  This time, Stellablue kept silent.

"I'm a fucking idiot..." Alexander whispered to himself.  As he was walking, he felt a shoulder bump into him.  He looked up and saw the same Nightmare he had a couple days ago, who had confused him with his... Flirtation?

Terrence gave him a big grin and said, "Sorry 'bout that!" But, with the tone of his voice,

Alexander knew he was far from sorry.
