Stellablue put her head down in between her knees. "Darn it!" she whispered to herself. She felt tears in her eyes, threatening to spill over the edge. Why did she have to grow feelings for a NIGHTMARE, who would obviously reject her, right after she had gotten over Rex?
She frowned internally at herself. She was dumb for ever doing this.
Alexander stood in the corner, facing away from every one. He wanted to talk to her... To touch her... To do so many things... But he couldn't. He knew no one believed in it, it just wasn't right. Forbidden, even. He sighed angrily and sadly at the same time.
Meanwhile, Victor sat happily in his chair. All he could think about was Terrence. Thinking about it now, he did realize that he was extremely attractive, with his generally deranged aesthetic and his intimidating eyes. Not only that, but his jewelry all fit him very well.
He sat there practically daydreaming about Terrence when finally, he felt a hand on his shoulder again. Instantly, Victor's head shot in the direction he felt the touch. As hoped, it was Terrence. "Eager, little boy?" he teased. Victor blushed a bright red.
"N-No..." Victor replied, doing a terrible job of concealing his emotions. Terrence smirked. "Dammit, Victor..." he said, hanging his head. Victor noticed his knuckles were white from the force with which he was gripping his chair.
"What...?" Victor asked. Terrence only shook his head in reply. "You're too damn cute," Terrence whispered in a voice so low Victor wasn't sure if he was meant to hear it or not.
Victor looked away from Terrence. "Terrence. Why... Are you hitting on me all of a sudden?" he asked. However, Terrence didn't reply. In an almost routinely manner, he looked at Victor, winked, and swung his body in the opposite direction to walk away.
"Terrence, w-wai-," but he was gone. Sighing, Victor stared down at his lap. He wanted to talk to him. He wanted to have a full blown conversation with him. But no, he had to walk away.
Natalie sat down on her bed and sighed. The fact that she had to sleep just to see her one true love was aggravating and inconvenient. However, she knew nothing could change, except for her sleep schedule.
She changed into her pajamas in a rushed manner and slipped under the covers without doing so much as brushing her teeth or turning on her alarm. She missed Rex. She wanted to see him.
Within minutes she was asleep. She had trained herself to fall asleep with incredible ease. And soon after that, she slipped into a dream.
She was instantly met with Rex's embrace. He seemed to miss her as much as she missed him. That made her happy.
As usual, she sat resting in his arms and they talked endlessly till morning. Conversation was effortless, there was never a search for a topic. Their thoughts flowed relentlessly through their words without mental filter.
This went on seemingly forever until an obnoxious, ear piercing sound rang through the dream. Her mother had set her alarm.
Morning.
