Natalie woke up with a scream. Her throat was sore and she had a headache. "What... What... The... Fuck?!?" She felt her eye to make sure it was okay.
Her mother came rushing into the room. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" she asked. Natalie stared at her.
"I... I hate you..."
Alexander leaned up against the wall of the Dream Room. His brother walked over to him and stood there silently. Alexander raised his eyebrow at him.
"How was Natalie?" Alexander asked. "...Fun," said Victor. Alexander looked to see he was smiling. Alexander smirked and looked down at his feet.
Glancing over at the Dreamer's side of the room, Alexander saw Rex talking to the girl he had noticed the other day.
"Now what the hell is pretty boy doing talking to a Dreamer?" Alexander asked. Victor looked over to see what he was talking about. He shrugged.
Stellablue stood awkwardly in front of Rex. It wasn't often that he visited the Dreamer's side of the room.
"I understand, but... Why?" Stellablue asked. "Don't ask," said Rex. With that, he left to return to the Nightmare's side of the room.
Stellablue watched him leave. Why would he assign her to one specific human to give good dreams to?
Rex walked past Alexander and Victor without acknowledging them. The brothers watched him pass.
Alexander shook his head. "What is that bastard up to?"
Come nighttime, Alexander was fully prepared to give Natalie another nightmare.
He sat down at his Dream Viewer and smiled deviously. "Let's have a go, shall we, Natalie?" he said.
Alexander was halfway through his nightmare. Natalie was being tormented with a similar dream to his first, and just when he was about to kill her...
The dream changed. Dark turned to light and fear turned to joy. Evil turned to good.
Alexander yanked his eyes away from his Dream Viewer. Looking behind him, he saw Rex, with his eyes fixed firmly onto his own Dream Viewer.
Alexander stood up and began to walk towards him. But just then, he looked away from the Dream Viewer and looked at Alexander.
"Rex, what the HELL was that?" Alexander yelled.
Stellablue looked into her Dream Viewer. Natalie's dream was now in her hands. Therefore, she was going to give her the best dream she'd ever had.
Because she wanted to please Rex.
