It was day, and the dreams were roaming around once again. Alexander glared at Rex from across the room. "Don't bother him... There's... No point..." said Victor.
Alexander redirected his glare to his brother. He had no intentions of listening.
Stellablue crossed her arms nervously in front of Rex. "You did well with Natalie. Thank you, Blue," said Rex. He smiled at her. Stellablue gave an awkward half smile in reply.
She liked Rex. But she wouldn't tell him that. Ever. She couldn't! He was... He wasn't a Nightmare. But he wasn't a Dreamer either.
Rex waved and swung around, then walked away. Stellablue stared after him.
Rex walked straight towards Alexander. Now was the time to make him pay for hurting Natalie. "Hey there, Alexander," he said.
Alexander glared at him. "Want to tell me why you did that?" he replied. Instead of responding, Rex smiled.
.................And punched him in the face. Stellablue gasped as she watched. Victor's jaw dropped in shock... But also, anger.
"Hey!" he yelled. Everyone was watching now. Even the Dreamers.
"Don't hurt him!!!" Victor yelled. He grabbed Rex's shoulders and pulled him to himself, the shoved him down to the floor.
Victor looked at Alexander, who had been knocked down due to the force of Rex's punch. He held out a hand and Alexander took it, pulling himself up.
While Rex was still on the ground, Alexander walked over to him. He placed his foot on his lower back to keep him down, the stomped on the back of his head.
Stellablue was filled with terror. "S-Stop it!" she yelled.
Alexander, Victor, and Rex (to the best of his ability) looked at her. "Stop it, please! Don't fight each other!" she begged.
Alexander raised an eyebrow at her. Rex pulled himself off of the ground, shoved Alexander's foot off of his back, and looked at the brothers. He tipped his hat and said, "Good day, you two," with blood dripping from his nose.
He walked over to the Dreamer's side of the room. Stellablue rushed after him.
"R-Rex! Are you o-" "I'm fine. Just keep doing your job, dear," he said. He walked away.
Nighttime soon came around. Before Alexander and Victor sat down in front of their Dream Viewers, Rex yanked them aside.
"What do you want?" Alexander growled. "Don't even consider harming her in the slightest," said Rex. "Why, eh? What's so special about this girl that you have to protect her?" said Alexander.
Rex was silent. "We're waiting," said Victor.
"...Because I love her."
