Zoe's point of view:
I wake up to Alfie bringing me breakfast in bed.
"here you go"
he places a tray of food on my plate, it has a bacon sandwich, beans, toast and water on it.
"ah! thankyou gorgeous!"
"that's okay"
he smiles at me.
I pucker my lips and he leans down and pecks me on the lips.
"I can't believe it"
I say and bite into my sandwich.
"can't believe what?"
I finish my mouthful,
"that we're engaged"
"me either, but I'm engaged to the most beautiful girl in the world"
"I know you are"
I laugh.
"yes"
he laughs too.
"Are we seeing Tyler today?"
"yeah, I texted him and he said he was not doing anything and we could go round anytime"
"cool"
I finish my breakfast, get dressed, put my makeup on and get in a taxi with Alfie.
"so are we going to tell him?"
Alfie asks.
"tell who what?"
I reply.
"tell Tyler were engaged, you numptey"
"oh"
I laugh.
"so are we?"
"I don't see why not?"
"do you want him to be the first person we tell?"
"why not?"
"okay then, yes?"
"yeah"
the taxi driver interrupts by saying -
"engaged are we?"
"yeah"
Alfie replies.
"since when?"
"last night"
"ah congrats mate, got yourself a good bird"
"aheh yeah"
Zoë frowns at me.
"I am not a bird excuse me"
