Jess POV

To say the morning after was painful would be a complete and utter understatement, the night before seemed a blur, but the vivid memories of me crying, on multiple occasions, came to my mind. Throwing the duvet from my body my body break out into goosebumps, the cold air coming from somewhere in the room made me question if getting out of bed was the best idea.

But knowing if I didn't I wouldn't get out of bed ever, which sounded great, however I took the plunge and let my feet touch the floor. My legs felt like pure jelly, as I wondered to the draws of clothes that my OCD self had organised to my own perfection. Taking far to long on getting the right outfit, I picked up the clothes and wondered to the bathroom. Showering before getting dressed

I walked out from the bathroom, noticing that the once empty and quiet kitchen was filled with the sound of the radio playing some song from the charts, Joe singing along as he scavenged something to eat from the fridge

I walked out from the bathroom, noticing that the once empty and quiet kitchen was filled with the sound of the radio playing some song from the charts, Joe singing along as he scavenged something to eat from the fridge. He wore a simple white tee and black ripped jeans, Jess felt extremely awkward, not being completely clear what happened, the possibility of complete embarrassment was very likely.

"Hey Jess, You feeling better?" Joe asked, as he continued to hum to the song, yet his eyes remained on me, I cringed thinking of her drunk self trying to control her emotions last night, why couldn't she be one of them social gifted people?

"I am... fine." She stated, quickly running into her room before the nice greeting turned into an interrogation.

The invitation to go to Starbuck was a no brainer, collecting my phone and purse, Joe and I arrived in no time. The awkward silence caused the pair of us to just stare and smile at each other every once and awhile, waiting for our order.

"Joe and Jess?" The worker yelled our name, the place was rather busy meaning we had to wait quite a while for our orders, we found a table and sat down.

There was an awkward silence, like before but this time it was broken by Joe

"So then, Jess, tell me about yourself." Joe asked, shifting in my seat I was a little uncomfortable talking about myself, their wasn't much to me. But as I looked him into his eyes, I realised he was actually somewhat interested.
