Jess POV "Happy birthday Jess" was the first thing I heard when I opened my eyes to see joe standing above me with a cake in his hands with candles lighting up the room. I sat up so I was leaning against the bed head board. I leaned forward and blew the candles out making sure to make a wish. Joe placed the cake on the side table beside the bed and leaned in our lips connecting. ----- Joe POV I needed to get the apartment ready for the party tonight to celebrate Jess's 23rd birthday. I wanted this party to be good and a night to remember I had texted everyone the night before to arrive at 6 and then got Zoe to go shopping with Jess during the day to get her out he flat so I could decorate. Alfie came round and we pinned banners up, balloons and streamers hanging from the ceiling.People started arriving around 5:30. People including jack and Conor, Lucy and Lydia , mikey, josh, Caspar, Niomi, and a few of Jess's friends from back home which from the help of her younger sister I got in contact and invited them. Everything was ready I had just got a text from Zoe saying they were coming up the lift so we turned the lights off and hid. 3,.....2.....1 "SURPRISE!!! " we all shouted Jess stood there shocked. "Happy BIRTHDAY Jess!" Everyone shouted and her face just lit up. She ran over to me and hugged be tightly and kissed me.
Jess POV I was so surprised. I hugged joe tightly and kissed him and in the corner of my eye I could see my 2 best friends from back home Liv, Maisie . I stood back and blinked a few times to make sure it was actually them and when it finally clicked I ran over arms wide and hugged both of them. I had missed both girls so much we were always so close and were more like sisters than best friends. When we finally broke the hug I could see behind the girls that jack, Conor kept looking at the girls and talking between themselves which only meant one thing.... I tugged the girls over to the 3 boys. "Hey guys this is Liv, and Maisie. Girls this is, Conor and jack." I could tell the guys had already got their eye on their girl and I knew that would get on just fine so wondered off to the rest of the party and grabbed a drink on the way. -------FEW HOURS LATER------ Joe POV Jess wondered over I could tell she had had a few more drinks than she should so I steadied her and placed her on the sofa next to me. Jack and Liv were cuddled up to each other on the 2 seater chair opposite which both of them had drank too much, Conor and Maisie were also slightly more drunk than expected and cuddled up on the sofa next to me and Jess. It was so weird that my best friend were getting with Jess's best friends but it felt weirdly right. It was 2:30am and people had all gone except jack, Connor , Liv and Maisie. They were all crashed out on the sofas in the lounge and I lifted Jess into my room where you could just hear her giggle from thinking everything was funny---she was way to drunk--. Let's just say one kiss lead to another which lead to ....😋😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
