IM SO SORRY LMAO GRAB UR TISSUES
—"How'd you find this place?" Jack asked as the stars finally came out. He was sat up, staring in adoration.
Mark was staring in adoration as well, but not at the stars.
Mark smiled lightly. "I got in an argument with one of my exes and when it got physical, I needed somewhere to go."
Jack looked down, smiling sadly. "I wanted to get away from here as soon as I could so I just walked and walked and walked. A lot of people used to hike up here so I followed them."
"And soon enough, I found this place. It was secluded, and I couldn't ever figure out why. It has the best view of everything in this town."
"It reminded me of my dad. I always thought that if he could see me, it would be here out of all places. It's closer to heaven, so I always came up here to talk to him."
Jack smiled lightly over at him. "Then talk." He whispered and Mark shook his head, smiling. "Don't you want to introduce me?" He asked playfully, smiling brightly when Mark laughed.
—
Jack laid in Mark's arms, his body pressed against the elder's. He was half asleep, but awake enough to hear Mark when he started talking.
"Hey, dad." Mark spoke quietly, smiling up at the sky. Jack shifted in his lap, getting closer to him and laying his head on his shoulder.
Mark's arms still wrapped around him, keeping his small body pressed close to the elder's.
"Life has gotten a lot better since the last time we talked up here."
"For starters, I got out of that abusive relationship.
"My YouTube channel began growing. It's my full time career now, and I've met amazing people from it.
"Then, I accidentally messaged a guy on Kik. His name was Sean, or Jack.
"I didn't mean to message him, but it was probably the best decision I've ever made.
"When we met, it was the best day of my life. He didn't care about anything except making me happy. He never cares about anything except making me happy.
"We got into a relationship, but he made a mistake. I forgave him after a while. I can't live without him. He's the sun to my moon.
"He's got the most beautiful blue eyes, dad. They're prettier than the stars. He's gorgeous. I've never seen someone so gorgeous.
"But if you haven't already guessed, this is Sean- or Jack. Whatever you prefer.
"I know it's not the blonde girl with the long hair that you always imagined, but you always told me to chase my dreams and to do what makes me happy.
"So I did. He's in all of my dreams, dad, and he makes me insanely happy.
"I want to marry him one day. Adopt kids with him. Make a future with him.
"I love him, dad. I'm sure you would've too."
