Mark stood behind Jack, his hands wrapped the younger's waist. He kissed his bruised shoulder lightly, not missing how Jack flinched. "Mark?" Jack whispered, and Mark hummed. "I lied to you." Jack told him quietly, continuing to feel Mark's lips kiss his shoulder. "About the bruises."

"I know, Sean." Mark told him as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. "What really happened?" Mark wasn't mad. He respected that Jack wasn't ready to tell him what was wrong, he just really hoped that his boyfriend was okay.

Jack sighed, leaning back into Mark's arms. He felt Mark's arms tighten around him and smiled, feeling comforted by the elder. "A fan grabbed me a few days ago and wouldn't let go." He told Mark lightly. "I was getting out of my car and was about to go through the gate but I noticed there was a small group of people outside of the gate." Jack got choked up, feeling Mark's lips kiss the back of his head.

"Come on, baby boy. You've got this." Jack cleared his throat lightly before continuing his story.

He ran his hands over the other's that laid against his waist. "I told them that I appreciated them wanting to meet me but that our house wasn't the place to do it." Jack continued quietly. "I politely told them that I wasn't going to sign anything or take photos if it was outside the house." Jack sniffled lightly. "When I went to walk into the gate one of them grabbed my shoulder with a strong grip and jerked me back. He wouldn't let go until I posed with them for a photo."

Jack rubbed his hand over his shoulder, sighing. "I woke up with these the next day, but I thought it would be gone by now and I didn't want to upset you. I'm sorry." Jack told him, feeling Mark's hand come to hold his. "I love you." Jack whispered.

"It's okay, love." Mark told him quietly, kissing his shoulder once more. "I wish that didn't happen to you, but no more secrets." Mark told him, seeing the younger nod lightly. "I love you so much, baby boy."
