::Juliette's point of view::

"Wanna ditch this place?" Seth asked towards the end of first period.
"I thought you'd never ask." I laughed. We went an signed ourselves out.
"Okay this is the plan. I'm leaving my car and we will take yours, that way we don't have to go back to our houses." He explained.
"Deal." I said unlocking my car doors. I gave Seth the keys. I didn't want to drive. I got in the passenger seat and buckled in.
"I am getting you a surprise present." Seth said pulling out of the school.
"What's that?" I asked him.
"Shhh it's a secret." We both laughed. I decided to text Colby. Of course the one thing I feared happened. He thought I was dating Seth. I explained though, so now I think we are all good. Little does Colby know that I'm coming to Cali, and hopefully hanging out with him.
"Okay Jules. At this store you go look around while I get your gift." Seth instructed me. I nodded and instantly walked towards the music section. I looked for about forty-five minutes.
"Ugh I have like every album I like." I whined. After that I walked towards the clothes. I picked out a black long sleeve that said "Disney" on it, and a pair of black ripped skinny jeans. A girl can never have enough skinny jeans. I laughed and walked over to the hats. I saw two snapbacks I instantly fell in love with. One was Batman, and one was baby blue with a white bill. I grabbed them and grabbed a beanie that was black, an said "Geek" on the front. Okay I need to go away from the clothes before I buy the entire store. I met up with Seth and he already had my preset wrapped. We went to checkout, I bought my stuff and apparently he had already paid for my present. We walked back out to the car and he handed me the box. He had printed out the picture collage I had made and had it framed.
"Aww Seth I love it!" I exclaimed hugging him.
"Hang on there's more. Close your eyes." He said smiling. I closed my eyes and he placed it in my hand. It felt like a phone case. Confused I opened my eyes. It was a phone case and the background was me and Seth. The picture where I was sticking my tongue out at him, and it said "Best Friend" on it. I smiled and hugged him.
"I love it Seth." I exclaimed.
"I got one two." He smiled showing me his phone. After that we went bowling and ate some pizza. Then drove back to the school for Seth to get his car.
"Alright it's time for you to leave for Cali... Are you sure you want to do this by yourself?" Seth asked placing his hands on my shoulders, and looking me in the eyes.
"Yeah I want to do this by myself." I nodded.
"Please text me every chance you get and tell me you're okay." Seth said hugging me tightly. I hugged him back and whispered "I will." He let go and went back to his car. I got in mine and drove back to my house. I walked in and my mom was sitting on the bottom stair.
"Hey Momma." I said walking inside.
"Shut up." She scoffed, pushing me and walking away. When she pushed me I tripped over a shoe, and laded really awkwardly. I had a bruise on my forearm, my knee, and my hip. I rolled my eyes and went up to my room. I grabbed my three suitcases and my phone charger and went back down the stairs. I ran out the door before my mom could touch me again. I threw my suitcases in the backseat, and quickly pulled out. It was 2 pm, and it takes 33 hours to drive to Cali.. I'll have to stop in like Nevada or Arizona and sleep, but I'll make it there in two days, and then I'm staying 2 weeks. I was so excited. My phone started ringing and I answered it. It was a FaceTime call from Colby.
"Hey Colby Koala." I said not taking my eyes off the road.
"You driving princess?" He asked.
"Yeah it's spring break." I said with a smile. It was really hard not to let it slip that I was going to Cali.
"Where you going?" He asked.
"Oh you know just vacation is all." I said trying to give as little detail as possible.
"Well beautiful, I'm going to let you drive. Call me when you can ok?"
"Alright handsome." I said making the kissy face at him. He laughed and we hung up. This was going to be a long drive by myself, I sighed as I stopped at a red light. I plugged my phone into the radio and blared music. Music is my remedy and maybe it'll help me not be so bored.
