Chapter 28: Arriving Back At S.P.D.

Early the next morning, as Sky and I pull up at S.P.D., I see Z, Sydney, and Bridge standing there.

"Bre, is that really you?" asks Z as she sees me in my usual outfit.

"It's me. So how's S.P.D. been without me?" I ask.

"Boring, but it's good to have you back," says Sydney as she hugs me.

"And I have my teammates Jemma Simmons and Skye with me," I say.

As I step away from the JEEP, Kat and Commander Cruger step out. Jemma, Skye, and I are in shock at seeing Kat again. I stand my ground, with Jemma and Skye by my side. Commander Cruger says, "Breanna it's great to see you again. Who are they?"

"Sir, they're my teammates and non-related sisters. We stick together no matter what," I say.

"It's okay cadet. Let's get you and your teammates inside and Sky and the others will handle your stuff. Come on," says Commander Cruger.

We follow Kat and Commander Cruger inside where I see my other team on the screen.

"No! What happened over there?" I ask.

"After you left them, they were attacked and they are in the infirmary as we speak," says Commander Cruger.

Skye, Jemma, and I run out of the Command Center towards the infirmary where we see Fitz, Coulson, Triplet, and May in an unconscious state as well our newest S.H.I.E.L.D. team member Lincoln, who's an inhuman, like Skye and I are.

"I'm sorry guys. This is all my fault," I say in a whisper.

"Who would hurt them like this?" asks Skye.

When Skye says that Fitz and Lincoln begin to wake up, as Lincoln opens his eyes Skye runs over to him.

"Skye where am I?" asks Lincoln.

"You're at S.P.D. headquarters you've been unconscious for a while," says Skye.

"It wasn't your fault for leaving, you followed your heart and I'm glad that you did. So how's Bre doing?" asks Lincoln as Skye puts another pillow behind his head.

"I'm doing fine Lincoln. So how do you feel?" I ask.

"I feel fine Bre. I'm just glad that you, Skye, and Jemma weren't there to see us get hurt", says Lincoln.

"We would take a bullet for any of you," says Skye.

"I know," says Lincoln.

"I want to know who would want to hurt you guys," says Skye.

"Because whoever did this, is going to pay," I say.

"Five words, Ian Quinn and Grant Ward," says Lincoln.

"What!" exclaims Jemma, Skye, and I out of shock.

"I didn't believe it until I saw his face", says Lincoln.

"His head is mine. I swear to it," I say.

"He almost put a bullet through Fitz," says Lincoln.

"Now why would Ian Quinn want to shoot Fitz?" asks Jemma.

"He believed that Fitz was a threat," says Lincoln.

"He's dead wrong," says Skye.

"Where is he now?" I ask.

"Turn around," says Ian Quinn.

I pull my Icer Gun out and I shoot Ian Quinn in the head and back several times. Jemma and Skye help me cuff Ian Quinn and Lincoln asks, "Did that just happen?"
