Power Rangers S.P.D. A New Beginning

Chapter 16: Heading Back to SPD.

Before I walk out I give Bloom a goodbye for now hug. I head to the Jeep with my duffle bag and I have my SPD tablet in my duffle bag. I put the keys into the ignition and I drive off. While I’m driving my morpher goes off. I pull over and I answer it.

“Hello," I say.

“Bre, it’s Sky. Where are you?" asks Sky.

“I had to go do a quick errand. I’ll be back in a few hours," I say.

“Okay, we’ll be waiting," says Sky.

I hang up and I pull over back onto the street. I head to the highway, where I decide to take the shortest way back to SPD. I drive for six hours until I arrive back at SPD. When I take my duffle bag out, I have the Jeep keys in my hand. I walk inside, where I walk to the Command Center.

“Welcome back Cadet Charbonnet. Did you find out any details about the fire?" asks Commander Cruger.

“Yes sir, but my friend Bloom and I have decided to keep any details that involve the fire between us. If anybody finds out, she could be killed for being who she is," I say.

“Okay, where’s your cousin at?" asks Commander Cruger.

“He’s with our grandmother," I say.

“She lives near the area where the fire happened," I say.

“Good job Bre. Welcome back," says Kat.

“Thanks Kat," I say.

I head to my head room, where I place my stuff away and I head to the Common Room. When I walk in there, I see Z, Sydney, Bridge, and Sky.

“Hey guys," I say.

“Bre you’re back," says Z.

“Yeah I had some errands to run," I say.

Sky walks up and he gives me a quick hug. He has a smile a mile wide on his face though. Bridge and I shake hands and Sydney gives me a big hug.

“I missed you guys too. I need to make a quick phone call though," I say.

I call Bloom, but she doesn’t answer, so I leave a voicemail for her, that says, “Hey Bloom I made it back safely to S.P.D. Call me when you can. I promise I'll pick up."

When I hang my morpher up, I see the others staring at me.

“Why are guys staring at me?" I ask.

“Bre, you’re glowing," says Z.

I look at myself in a mirror and I see what Z is talking about. I run outside, with a backpack in hand, for about a mile or two, where I sit down on the beach. While I'm there, I feel peaceful and at home. I then see the ocean and I find a private place to change. I put my uniform in my backpack and I dive into the ocean, where I swim to an island cave, that has a small, but deep pool of ocean water, surrounded by dry sandy ground. I then decide to surface and I put my backpack on the dry sandy ground.
Back at SPD, Commander Cruger and Kat walk into the common room.

“Cadets, where is Breanna at?" asks Kat.

“She ran out of the building. She was glowing a golden color. We don’t know where she went though," says Z.

“It’s concerning, I mean she’s not really familiar with this area. We’ve got to go find her," says Sky.

“Agreed," says Kat.

“I’ll go look for her. I’ll be back later," says Sky.

“Be careful Sky," says Z.

“I will Z," says Sky.
