Chapter 11: A Surveillance Mission Turns into a Crime Scene Investigation.

Sydney goes to the Jeep and she pulls a tarp up and Sky grabs the crime scene cases. Sydney puts tape around the house. Sky goes inside and he cleans and picks up all of the equipment and he walks outside and he places it in the Jeep, underneath the tarp.

When Sky walks into the house, Sydney hands him two cases. Sky opens them and he begins to look for any evidence that could explain why the couple had guns on them.

While Sydney is looking, she shouts, “Sky, I’ve got some dried up blood over here."

Sky sees the blood and he swabs some of it up.

“We better let Commander Cruger know," says Sydney.

“I’m already on it," says Sky.

Sky then calls Commander Cruger.

“Sir, we’re at the house next door to the surveillance outpost, we’ve got a male and female being brought back to base for questioning. They both had guns on them and they each pointed one at Sydney and me. We’ve also got some dried up blood over here. We need back up," says Sky.

“How bad is it Cadet Tate?" asks Commander Cruger.

Sky hands his morpher to Sydney.

“Sir it’s Sydney. There’s dried up blood all in the kitchen. Something bad happened here and I’m requesting Z, Bridge, you, and Breanna come down here," says Sydney.

“I’ll let them know. Also don’t tell Sky that Breanna’s been discharged from the infirmary. I want him to be surprised. We’ll be there as soon as we can," says Commander Cruger.

Back at base Commander Cruger rounds up Z, Bridge, and Breanna and they head to Sky’s and Sydney’s location, but before they leave, Kat hands Breanna a pair of keys.

“What’s this Kat?" asks Breanna.

“Head outside. It’s next to Bridge’s motorcycle," says Kat.

Breanna and Bridge head outside, where Breanna spots a S.P.D. jeep, that looks exactly like Sydney's, but it’s red, gray, and black with the S.P.D logo on it.

“Oh sweet," says Breanna.

“I know, let’s head over there," says Bridge as he puts his helmet on.

Breanna gets into her jeep and Z asks, "Hey Bre can I get a lift?"

"Hop in," says Breanna.

When they arrive at the house, they see Sky waiting for them.

“Commander Cruger, follow me inside," says Sky.

Sky leads Commander Cruger inside, who sees Sydney examining the kitchen.

“Don’t step in here. This is a crime scene within a crime scene," says Sydney.

Back outside, Breanna pulls up in her jeep and Bridge pulls up on his motorcycle.

“You look good Bre, especially in red," says Z.

“Thanks Z. Let’s head inside," says Breanna.

Z, Bridge, and Breanna head inside, but Breanna hides behind Z as they walk in.

“Hey Z, hey Bridge. So how was Bre doing before you guys left?" asks Sky.

“Why don’t you ask her yourself," says Z.

Breanna steps out from behind Z. She has a smile a mile wide and Sky smiles back at her.

“You look amazing in red, so where’s your sling at?" exclaims Sky.

“Thanks Sky, you look amazing in blue. Kat took my sling off. I only have the hard cast now," says Breanna.

Sky and Breanna then turn around to see Sydney in the kitchen investigating.

“Let’s start to check the rest of the house," says Z.

Bridge, Z, and Sky begin to check the rest of the house, but Breanna’s by Sky’s side the entire time. When Sky begins to hear a noise, he and Breanna follow it to a bedroom door, where Breanna opens it to see somebody she thought she’d never see again.
