Chapter 5: An Injured Cadet.

Next thing you know Commander Cruger walks in with Breanna’s mom.

“Mom, what are you doing here?" asks Breanna.

“I came here to see you," says Tanya.

“You haven’t been around me in a year. Why do you think I ran away from home? My father was better to you then he was to me. Now if you’ll excuse what I’m saying I think you need to leave Tanya," says Breanna with anger in her eyes.

Tanya walks out and she throws Breanna a dirty look.

“Oh I don’t think so Tanya," says Kat.

Tanya then takes Sydney’s blaster off of her belt and she aims it at Kat. Sydney tries to stop Tanya, but when she fires it, it hits Breanna’s lower right arm.

“Ow," yells Breanna as she reaches for her lower right arm.

“Kat, we’ve got blood here," says Z as she begins to apply pressure to Breanna’s lower right arm.

Two guards run in and they grab Tanya and they put a pair of handcuffs on her.

“Guards get Mrs. Charbonnet out of here," says Kat.

Kat runs over to Breanna and she has Z stop applying pressure.

“She’s going to need stitches," says Kat.

“It hurts”, whimpers Breanna as Z applies pressure to it.

“I know Bre. Just stay calm and we’ll make the pain go away," says Kat.

Z begins to apply pressure again while Kat goes to grab the first aid kit. Kat finds the first aid kit, as well as a sling.

When Commander Cruger walks in he asks, “What happened in here?”

“Tanya took my gun out from my belt and she aimed it at Kat, but I tried to grab it from her and she hot Breanna in the lower right arm," says Sydney.

“You feel guilty don’t you Sydney?" asks Commander Cruger.

“Yes, if she wouldn’t have grabbed it, then none of this would have happened," says Sydney.

“It’s not your fault Sydney. You didn’t know that Mrs. Charbonnet was going to take your blaster," says Commander Cruger.

“She’s not my mom anymore. I want her away from me," says Breanna as she winces.

Sydney looks over at Breanna and she helps Z apply pressure to Breanna’s lower right arm.

“Are you sure that you’re okay?" asks Sydney.

“I’m fine Sydney. I can tell that you feel guilty, don’t be it’s not your fault," says Breanna.

“Okay, but I will not let your mom get away with this," says Sydney.

“I agree, but we follow the rules," says Breanna.

“Okay, but if she tries to hurt any of us, then she’s mine," says Sydney.

“Agreed," says Breanna.
