Power Rangers S.P.D. A New Beginning

Chapter 20: Sky the Nurse.

Sky sits down by the reclining chair next to my bed. When he sits down he sees my left arm starting to swell up, so he carefully rolls my sleeve up and he sees where the swelling is coming from. He cuts off the old gauze and he grabs a bottle of rubbing alcohol, some cotton gauze, and some turquoise colored gauze. When he finds a small bucket he places it underneath the wound on my lower left arm, he starts to dab a cotton ball, with rubbing alcohol, on the wound. I somewhat feel my arm stinging, but I decide to open my eyes.

"That hurts," I say.

"You'll be okay Bre, I just need to clean and assess your arm," says Sky.

"Okay," I say.

When I turn my head towards Sky, I see him concentrating on my arm. I keep looking at him. As Sky gently dries the wound on my arm, he has to squeeze it a little bit to get some fluid out of my arm. When Sky does it I almost scream, but I soon feel the pain going away. When I open my eyes again I see Sky applying the cotton gauze and then the turquoise colored gauze.

"Thank you Sky," I say

"You're welcome Bre," says Sky.

Sky gently takes my right hand and he kisses it. I blush and I then fall asleep with a smile on my face. While I'm sleeping I dream about myself swimming in the ocean and I also see Sky as my husband. I now know that I have to protect my friends as well as fight the monsters that threaten New Tech City. While I'm dreaming I see Sky and I kissing. So I decide to wake up. When I open my eyes I see that Sky's sleeping, but I see a backpack, with a book about mermaids, a sketchbook, colored pencils, sharpies, and mechanical pencils inside of it. So I try to grab it, but my arm hurts too much. So I grab the bag with my right arm. I begin to read the book about mermaids and as I'm reading Kat walks in.

"Hi Kat. Sky's sleeping at the moment," I whisper.

"How are you doing?" asks Kat in a whisper.

"Well Sky had to change the dressing on my lower left arm. It hurt as Sky had to squeeze my skin so he could get some liquid pus out of it," I say in a whisper.

"Did he put some new dressings on it?" asks Kat in a whisper.

"Yes he did", I whisper as I show Kat the new dressing on my lower left arm.

Kat then asks, "Would you like something to eat?"

I shake my head up and down.

"What would you like?" asks Kat in a whisper.

"Chinese or Italian food. If it's Chinese food I'll get some special fried rice with an egg role and some sweet and sour sauce, if it's Italian I'll take some lasagna and meatballs and spaghetti", I whisper.

"Okay, I'll have Z go pick it up," says Kat

"Thanks Kat," I whisper.

"You're welcome," says Kat in a whisper.

"Kat I'll have Italian. Can Z also get some Lasagna for Sky?" I ask in a whisper.

"Yeah, I'll be back later," says Kat softly.

Kat walks out and she tells Z what to do.

"I'm on it Kat," says Z.

Z then heads to a local Italian Restaurant called Bosco's Italian Cafe. She walks in and she orders two lasagna meals. When she finishes ordering she calls me.

"Hey Bre, I'm here at Bosco's Italian Café. I got you and Sky lasagna and an order of spaghetti and meatballs and I'll be back soon," says Z.

"Wait, did you say Bosco's Italian Café?" I ask.

"Yeah, why?" asks Z.

"That's my old science teacher's restaurant," I say.

"What's her name Bre?" asks Z.

"Stephanie Bosco," I say.

"I'll see if she's here tonight," says Z.

"Okay, thanks Z," I say.

While Z and I are talking I hear Z asking, "Are you Ms. Stephanie Bosco?"

"Yes I am, how can I help you?" asks Ms. Bosco.

"My friend Breanna says she knows you. Would you like to talk to her?" asks Z.

"I'd love to," says Ms. Bosco.
