Bellamy and I decided that we would go after Finn, Clarke, and Monty as a thanks to Raven and Jasper who helped with my rescue.

Just as we were about to head out, a male voice came through the radio. "All gunners, we got movement outside the South wall!"

Bellamy and I quickly climbed down the ladder and ran outside towards the problem area. A few of the gunmen had already started to move towards the wall.

"Wait! Hold you fire! Clarke and Finn! Open the gate!" Miller shouted.

Two gunners opened the gate and Clarke and Finn ran in looking worried. "Hey, we heard an explosion. What happened?" Clarke asked.

"Long story short: Murphy," I laughed it off and then hugged Clarke and Finn, "Where's Monty?"

"Monty's gone?" Clarke asked.

"Clarke, we need to leave, now. There's an army of Grounders, unlike anything we've ever seen, coming for us right now. We need to get out of here," Finn interrupted.

"Like hell we do. We knew this was coming," Bellamy intervened.

"Bellamy, maybe he's right. We aren't prepared. The whole thing with Murphy delayed us quite a bit. I don't think we're prepared," I agreed with Finn.

"They aren't here yet. We still have time. Besides, where would we go?" Bellamy questioned.

"There's an ocean, East of here. People can help us there," I suggested.

"How do you know that?" Bellamy asked.

"You met Janus, didn't you?" Octavia asked and I responded with a nod.

"Who's Janus-" Finn started.

"Not important right now-" I began.

"You expect us to trust a Grounder?" Bellamy asked, "This is our home now. We built this place with our bare hands! Our dead are buried in this ground! Our ground! But, the Grounders have yet to realize one thing since we've dropped down from the sky and touched this soil: We are Grounders!"

"Bellamy-" I was interrupted by cheers from the delinquents.

"I say let them come!" Bellamy shouted.

"Bellamy's right," I announced, "If we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this. But, if we stay here, we could all die by tonight. So pack your things and take what you can carry, now."

The delinquents seemed to ponder their next move but then obeyed my orders. I walked back into the dropship and collected as much medical supplies as I could carry. I was interrupted by Finn carrying Raven into the dropship and she was crying in pain.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Murphy shot her," Finn informed.

He laid her on the table and I inspected her wound. The bullet hit her just above her left hip. I asked Finn to start a fire and to grab a knife. I disinfected my hands with the small amount of Monty's moonshine that we had left and used the rest to clean the knife and to also give Raven a drink.

I heated up the knife and then pressed it to the wound, cauterizing it. "I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?" Finn asked.

"Long story," Bellamy responded as he walked into the Ark.

"We got lucky. If Murphy hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead," Raven said in between groans.

"Wait, there's rocket fuel down there?" I asked, "Enough to build another bomb?"

"Enough to build 100 bombs if we had more gunpowder left," Raven informed.

"All right, enough talking about this shit. Is she able to walk?" Finn asked.

I looked at Raven sadly. "No, we have to carry her."

"Like hell you will," Raven responded and then started to get up from the table.

I pushed her back down to the table gently. "Listen, Bird, that bullet is still in you. I don't know how deep or what it hit so you could be bleeding internally. If we weren't at war right now, I would be able to take it out within a few hours. But, for now, we'll have to carry you, okay?"

Raven nodded and laid back down on the table. "I'll go get a stretcher," Finn said.

"Can't run away fast enough, huh? Real brave," Bellamy said as Finn walked away.

Finn turned around with an angry look on his face and addressed Bellamy. "Dying in a fight you can't win, Bellamy, isn't brave. It's stupid."

"Spoken like every coward that-" Bellamy started.

"Boys!" I interrupted, "We can't turn on each other. Finn go get a stretcher," Finn nodded as he glared at Bellamy and then walked away, "Look, Blake, Murphy used up the last of the gunpowder, we barely have any ammo, and we are probably out numbered. If we don't make it to the ocean then we can turn back and fight for our lives. But, we have the chance to get everyone out alive and it wouldn't hurt to take the risk, okay?"

Bellamy nodded. "But what if they follow us? It's a 120-mile hike."

"Bellamy, we'll be fine. Like I said, if it doesn't work out, we'll come back and fight for our lives. But, you have to come, please. I can't do it without you, Bellamy, I can't," I said.

Bellamy looked at me with fear, confusion and hopelessness in his eyes. "What do you want me to say, Athena?"

"Well, I would hope you will say that you'll come along. Those kids out there listen to you, Blake," I said with a sense of hope.

Bellamy shook his head. "They're packing their stuff, getting ready to go. They seem to listen to you more."

"Okay, fine, Bellamy. If you want to make this difficult, then go ahead. Go ahead and abandon your people. Go ahead and sit here and die when you could have had a greater chance of living going to the ocean. Just-" I paused and stared into his dark brown eyes, searching for any sign of what choice he will choose, "Just do whatever the hell you want, Bellamy Blake."

I finished packing medical supplies and then stomped angrily out of the dropship, passing Finn on the way who looked confused but didn't dare ask any questions. All of the delinquents were packed and ready by the time Finn and a couple of other boys helped Raven onto the stretcher.

Then, we headed out into the forest one last time.
