My name is Arabella Smith. I'm the daughter of the King of Unovria, you've probably never heard of it before. It's a small island between the United Kingdom and Norway. So, me being his daughter... Yeah, I'm a princess.
Now as you guessed being a princess comes with perks. You know, having beautiful clothes, jewellery, having someone always there to talk to. Oh and we have a few pets.
We have a husky named Georgie, a chameleon named Pascal, a turtle named Sheldon, and an orange tabby cat named Buttercup. I know what you're thinking, oh my goodness she reads and watches 21st century things? Well of course I do I'm not medieval. Although I am a pretty good shot with a bow and arrow. I also have a horse called Philippe but I had him before I wanted a house pet.
My father, George, is away a lot because you know, he's a King and all. I have two siblings, Harriet and Hector, twins, they're 6. My mother, Rose, passed when she had the twins. She gave up her life to bring two new little perfect ones into the world. She was a beautiful woman; she had dark brown locks and beautiful green eyes. She and my father were lovely together. I've always hoped that I would have a bond with a man like my mother did my father.
So anyway. You're probably wanting something more fascinating about my royal life. Well, you are in luck dear friend, the media have been trying to get at me lately - they've been waiting outside the castle grounds (yes we live in a castle) for me to show my face, and when I do it's like I'm a runway model. All the cameras flashing and people yelling and calling, begging for their perfect tabloid. I would much rather stay inside, but I have horse riding lessons with Philippe. I refrain from taking Georgie out too often myself now, we have caretakers and maids who can do that, though I much rather love to take her out and play.
Anthony - my butler, chauffeur, best friend in all of Unovria - has been the one to take her out because so many rumours have been made up about me. Anthony is only 21, my father took him in when his parents died in a car accident. They knew my Father. He had no one to go to and I've known him since I was really young. He's practically family.
Now, me being the princess of a small country does mean that paparazzi only publish it to stuff in Unovria. Which is good- but not best. A lot of the rumours are bad, pregnancy, rebellious teen, you know, the usual stuff. But my father hasn't been too happy about it, so he sent me here; Maddensville, New York. He decided not only was it time to make new friends (which I don't truly care to do) but it will also give the paparazzi a break, and find something better to photograph, maybe they could take up birdwatching and take a photo of a swan or something. They were told I was going on a holiday. Hopefully, they don't follow me around here.
I'm staying with a family friend and my best friend outside of Unovria. Her name is Justine, and her parents are Maria and Samuel Rodriguez. Her younger brother, Joshua, is 11.
The Rodriguez's know I'm the princess of Unovria. But they wouldn't tell a soul. So for the next year I will be attending Maddensville High School.
And you're coming on the ride with me.
