It's been a few weeks since the incident and my eye is just about all healed now.

For the play? We've learnt all of the songs, and about half of the actual play.

Miss Dunfield sighs. "From the beginning of the scene please. Again."

Jackson walks back onto stage purposely knocking things over, I'm on the other half of the stage where the lights are dimmed.

"I ask nicely, uh, she refuses? Um but what does she want me to do? Beg?" Jackson says monotonously. He picks up a mirror and holds it in my direction. "Show me the girl."

The lights on my side of the stage turn on. "Why, the masters not so bad once you get to know him. Why don't you give him a chance?" The wardrobe - Amber - Says.

"I don't want to get to know him! I don't want anything to do with him!!" I let out.

Jackson puts down the 'magic' mirror and still speaking without emotion - "I'm just fooling myself. She'll never see me as anything but a monster."

I can see miss Dunfield cringe. "Okay that's enough for now. Charlie! We're going to run through Gaston's song again. You three can take a break. Get some water or something."

I walk off to side stage and grab my script - and then I see Jackson walking out and bursting through the auditorium doors. I look around and no one notices. So I slowly walk up through all the chairs and through the doors as well. I look around and there he is.

He's got his back to me, "She-She'll never see me as, she'll never see me as anything but a- ugh. She will. She will never see me as anything but a monster."

"You've got to be more sad and angry." He turns around sharply to me. "Pretend I'm.... Chris. And there's a girl and she only sees you as this jerk but you're really not and you want her to see otherwise okay? Now tell me."

He sighs. "I'm just fooling myself.. She'll never see me as anything but a monster." He says with actual emotion.

My eyes widen and my jaw drops slightly.

He looks up at me. "What?"

"That was incredible. Do that and we've got ourselves a show. Okay. I know we haven't done this scene yet but flip to the scene where Belle finds the rose. Let's practice that. It's just you and me. And remember. You're not Jackson, you're a beast. So act like it."

He nods and finds the right page.

"Okay so you've just slammed the jar over the Rose."

"Why did you come here?" Jackson growls.

"I'm sorry."

"I warned you never to come here!"

"I didn't mean any harm."

"Do you realise what you could've have done?!" He makes some actions pretending to 'thrash around furniture'.

"Please, stop! No!!" I cry.

"Get out!!!! GET OUT!!!!!" He screams.

I pretend to run away, "Ahhhh don't eat me mister beast!" We both laugh. "Jackson that was incredible."

"I could say the same for you."

"Flattery will get you no where." I reply.

"No but my legs will."

"True. Your legs will get you places," he starts walking closer to me slowly, "unless you're in a wheelchair in which case your wheels will get you places." By now he's standing right in front of me. I can just feel his breath as he breathes.
