The opening night is coming closer and closer - right around the corner. A week to be exact. We've been doing dress rehearsals and such and today is the last day of rehearsals.
"Heh. Oh boy! Belle's gonna get the surprise of her life, huh gaston!" John - Aka Lefou - says.
"Yep! This is her lucky day." Charlie says. He turns to the 'audience' "I'd like to thank you all for coming to my wedding. But first, i'd better go in there and propose to the girl!" The 'bimbettes' fake cry and Charlie turns to John. "Now you Lefou, when belle and I come out that door-"
"Oh I know, I know!" John turns to 'the band' and starts leading them in song.
"Not yet!" Charlie hits him in the back of his head.
"Sorry!"
Charlie walks over to 'my house' and knocks on 'my door' I put down my book and open the door. "Gaston, what a pleasant... Surprise."
"Isn't it though? I'm just full of surprises. You know, Belle. There's not a girl in town who wouldn't love to be in your shoes. This is the day your dreams come true."
"What do you know about my dreams Gaston?"
"Plenty. Here, picture this." He sits down on my chair and props his feet up on my book. He kicks his shoes off and wiggles his toes. "A rustic hunting lodge, my latest kill roasting on the fire, and my little wife, massaging my feet, while the little ones play with the dog." He stands up getting closer to my face. "We'll have six or seven."
"Dogs??"
"No, Belle! Strapping boys, like
me!""Imagine that," I pick up my book, put a bookmark in it and put it on the shelf.
"And do you know who that wife would be?"
"Let me think,"
Charlie corners me. "You, Belle!"
I duck under his arm. "Gaston, I'm Speechless. I really don't know what to say."
He traps me against the door. "Say you'll marry me."
"I'm sorry Gaston, I just don't think I deserve you." I open the door and he stumbles out as I duck under his arm once again.

Opening Night
"Belle it's me!" Jackson/Beast says.
I step closer to him, looking straight into his eyes. "It is you!"
We've never rehearsed this part, and Miss Dunfield never said she wanted us to kiss or not. I don't want my first kiss to be fake. So do I just hug him? Or would it not count as a first kiss because it's acting?
We hug.
We hugged.
And that was it.
Moving onto next lines.
We hugged and we were supposed to kiss.
He will never let me forget that.

After the show, I sit backstage in the dressing room, listening to Taylor Swift and wiping off my makeup. I'm the only one left because I decided to take my time. Now that I have my own car and I don't have to meet anyone, so there's no need to rush.
I can simply take my time..
Knock, Knock
Rude.
I stand up and open the door. Oh no - Jackson.
"Yes, Jackson? What do you want?" I ask and sigh, leaving the door open and sitting back down in front of the mirror, taking down my hair.
"Well, I was about to go home so I was walking down the corridor and saw that the light was still on. Is that Taylor Swift?" He says.
I pause the music, "no." I mumble.
"Whatever." He sits down in the chair next to me and inspects the items on the bench.
"What do you want Jackson?" I ask as i brush through my hair.
He looks at me and the expression on his face softens, but then goes back. "You didn't kiss me."
"What? When?"
Oh yeah, on stage, where there was a scripted kiss and I simply hugged you. That not kiss.
"On stage, there was supposed to be a kiss and you hugged me instead." he says and picks up some mascara, inspecting it.
"Oh what, are you upset?" I tease. "Because you know, we are alone right now." I whisper.
"You are correct there. I'm very upset and we are alone." He stands up and walks to me, putting his hands on the arms of the chair I'm sitting on.
What is happening?
He leans in closer to me but i put a hand on his chest and stand up. "You know, I'm extremely flattered, but i doubt your girlfriend would be happy." I grab my bag and head to the door, leaving him dumbfounded at the bench. "See you tomorrow."

"HELL NO." Justine screams.
I knew I shouldn't have told her about what happened between Jackson and I. "Okay you seriously need to stop screaming." I say as people in the cafeteria turn to look at us.
She whispers, "Are you telling me you didn't kiss him? Even on stage??"
I roll my eyes, "No, I don't want my first kiss to be with that doofus."
"What doofus?" Jackson says, sliding into the chair next to me.
I nudge Justine under the table, "Uh, just a friend back home."
"Oh yeah? What's his name?"
"Anthony."
He says nothing.
"Well, if you will excuse us." I say and stand up, grabbing Justine's wrist and pulling her away from the boys.
