Yes, I wanted an adventure.Yes,  I did want something out of this world.  Having read all of those adventure stories and science fiction,  I was pretty sure I was very much capable of handling bizzare things that would pop up suddenly.  But when it did  happen with me,  I am not so sure.  I can't even differentiate fantasy from reality anymore.  I might go insane!

As the school bell rang it brought me back to that world of rat race.  It sure stopped my thought process but couldn't stop that tingling in my heart.

The school day was hectic, and the "memory" of last night seemed so dim that it felt it never happened.

Still there was a nagging feeling.  No matter how unrealistic or mind boggling it was... I wanted it.
Pouring light, transparent discs, colours which you can't define; how can it ever be true! I can't believe it was true nor can i believe it was all imagined by me.

The day had ended for school and I was on my way back home.  While watching the fleecy sky and rustling leaves...I thought about that thing which spoke to me.  It was a very strange feeling... remembering the words,  the sound of it... it felt as if it was meant to be.  It felt like whatever is inside me,  my soul ,my spirit.
But how can a thing never even imagined of, define something I have known always..how can it define me? How can it possibly be so..so... So familiar!?

I reached my home and nothing hinted anything extraordinary. With a half attentive mind,  i didn't even realize when I was over with my lunch and off to my room.

Just as I reached the door of my room , I stopped still.  A chill in my skin, which I knew. Not the chills of fear though, but that familiar zing.  As I opened the door,  I saw everything normal. Except for that one thing that was waiting patiently on my table.

The disc was open in the same glass like structure and that creature in the exact middle, with a serene look on it's face.  Green glow of the rings surrounded it.

This time I didn't panic. This time I was sane, and this time I was determined to see if it was real or fake.

I moved towards it slowly. My eyes fixed on it, observing each and every aspect of it.  Looking at it carefully, I tried to memorize the looks of it... To take it all in.  Studying it with every step towards it, I noticed it didn't move. It was as hard as a statue, as beautiful as the stars in the night sky. It was pure perfection!

Looking and looking at it, I lost count of everything ! I was getting lost and I didn't mind.  I didn't mind forgetting myself, didn't mind forgetting my being..as i moved closer and closer to that creature.

I felt a thrill, my heart throbbing, my palms sweaty. I didn't stop.. walking slowly and slowly towards it. Everything happened instinctively and i was not sure why... But I liked it.

As soon as I reached it I took it in my hands in full consciousness . This time  my eyes were wide open. I held it to my eye level, sat on the chair with my elbows resting on the table.  I had all the time in this world and seeing that the creature didn't even quiver an inch- I knew it had too.

With all my attention on it, this time i was sure what to do. The creature finally smiled and all that i said was,  "Explain. "
