(Y/N)'s P.O.V.
Being a part of the nine scumbags is not the easiest or most pleasing thing on Irene's green Earth, but beggars can't be choosers. Haven't heard from my family in what feels like decades, did they find a new place? A better one than me? Memories don't serve me much, all they give me is a handful of fire, smoke and the image if Falcon Claw becoming a pile of ashes. Thank Irene the members are not as bad as they look, tough on the outside yet pure and soft inside. When you come to think about it, many of us are like that. We live in a sharp shell, protecting ourselves from any sort of danger or pain; may it be physical or emotional. We protect ourselves. Yet, Zane Ro'Meave proves my point wrong. That man was born a rock, inside and out. Maybe Irene brought a stone to life by accident, or to make us all suffer. Labeling myself as crazy will do for now. Hallucinating. Dumb minded. Why, you may ask? I'm unable to shake the feeling that I knew this stone of a person before.
Footsteps neared me, and all of a sudden I was being talked to by a redhead. One of the members, wild guess.
"Hello! Uh.. ShadowWolf, right?" I simply replied by nodding, wanting to see what she wanted without interrupting her, "I guess rumors are true, your our new right hand?I'm Elina, or EagleEye."
"Nice to meet you, Elina." Sighing I realized she was the talkative type, "So, what's your story of joining this horrendous pact?"
"The same as everyone's. To summarize it for you, Zane attacked Scaleswind and I gave up my freedom and will to save my people."
"I know that feeling way too well. The only thing I really want to know is," I let out a breath as I noticed Elina looking at me intensely, the color in her eyes switching, "... is my family alive, uhm.. what.. are you doing? Your eyes.. uhm..."
"Oh, I'm so sorry how rude of me. I'm capable of reading minds," she explained in a mumble tone voice, "So you lived in Falcon Claw. Who was your brother?"
"The new Lord of FC, Aaron (L/N). Why ask me when you can read my mind, huh?" I snickered, she did not enjoy it.
Flat out ignoring me Elina did her creepy eye thing once more. "Rude," I added.
"The Ro'Meave caught your eye, huh? Ain't that sweet," blackmail.
"What? No way! Pff... as if,"
Great job, (Y/N). Anyone would believe you.
"You got that right, girl." Elina snickered, lifting the atmosphere slightly.
Getting lost in conversation with her took nothing but a few more laughs. Parting our ways training called for her, and me? Anything but that.
Zane's P.O.V.
Walking down the O'Khasis streets, pushing through the people I noticed all of my people in the Jury, except her. Shaking the occasional thought of her to the back of my mind, ignoring the feeling in my chest, I went on with my day. Needing to get away from the crowd, the glares and feared citizens my feet took me to behind the castle. (Y/N)? Gently making my way over to her, trying my best to stay unnoticed, I came to realize that she was asleep. No wonder she looked so calm. My mind becoming a blur, my body dazed all I was aware of is picking her up and taking her away from the small lake oasis she found.
