Chapter 16-Yeah,I'm ready

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I switched views between Zane's and Jeffrey's room,I opened the book.I saw a letter signed by me.I took it in my hands until I felt someone looking at me,I closed the book and turned around,I saw two icy blue eyes looking at me.I stood up and walked to Zane.

"You're awake."he said looking up at the dark night sky.

"Yeah,so are you."I said smiling.

"I couldn't sleep,what got you to read?"he asked.

"Oh,well I wanted to read it."I said nervously laughing.

"Can I get the truth?"he asked sitting on the grass,I sat next to him.

"Everyone is saying I should read it,so I went for it."I said letting out a sigh.

"I feel like you're hiding something from me."he said turning his head to me.

I got lost in his ice blue eyes,I forgot what I wanted to say.I turned my head to my book and kept quiet.

"What was that about?"he asked pulling his mask up his face.

"N-nothing,I just remembered what Hyria told me."I said.

"And that was?"he asked hoping I would spill.

"I can't tell you."I said getting up and walking to my room.

I jumped on my bed,I threw the book on the floor and looked out my window.

Zane's P.O.V.

"I feel like you're hiding something from me."I said looking at her.

(Y/N) didn't answer,she looked at me like she was trying to find out something,I noticed her eyes shine in the moonlight,I wanted to talk about everything but I kept quiet because I knew she felt nothing between us,even though I did.

"What was that about?"I asked to break the silence. 

"N-nothing,I just remembered what Hyria told me."she said.

"And that was?"I wanted to know.

"I can't tell you."she said standing up and walking to her room.I looked at her until I lost sight.

What are you hiding from me?I walked to her door,I went to knock but then I heard her voice.

"Look,I know what Hyria said but I can't tell that to him,he can't know."she said.

"Look,he needs to know until you regret everything like last time."a deep voice said.

"I'll be fine."she said.

I walked back to my room,I closed the door and sat down on my chair so I could read about the Shadow Lord to get things straight.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

TIMESKIP-Morning

"R.E.A.D. I.T. N.O.W."my shadow said making it very annoying and clear to me.

"Leave me alone,I'll read it.Today I'm supposed to train with Jeffrey."I said.

"Fine."my shadow said leaving me alone.

I walked out of my room and down the stairs,it was early in the morning so I decided I'll take a walk outside.I walked around O'Khasis trying to remember moments with Zane,Vylad and Garroth when we were little,I still remember when Zianna would sing us a song when we were in the garden.

"You're up early,miss (Y/N)"said Jeffrey walking to me holding his sword.

"Morning sir Jeffrey,what are you doing this fine morning?"I asked making a bow in front of Jeffrey.

"Okay that was too royal."he said laughing.

I laughed with him,"What are you doing?"I asked.

"Oh,I'm just thinking about Phoenix Drop."he said.

"You miss it,don't you?"I asked.

"Yeah."he said putting his sword back.

"We can go and see them if you want to."I said giving him a smile and turning my head to the O'Khasis gate.

"We don't need to but if Zane gets any funny ideas I will--"I cut him off.

"He won't"I said.

"I'm still keeping my eyes on him."he said.

"Fine."I said.

Jeffrey and me finished talking and then we went to train,I used my relic powers just to make him mad but,somehow he was fast and got me down on the grass.I got up and started again.I noticed Zane talking to his guards,he was looking at me,I was looking at him until Jeffrey stood in front of me.

"So,you like him?"he asked making his smirk bigger than ever.

"W-what!No,I don't.Zane's just a friend."I said.

"If you say so."he said.

"Good."I said.

"Even though I know you both like each other."Jeffrey muttered.

"I heard that!"I said.

"So?"he asked.

"So,now you're dead."I said,Jeffrey started running in front of me while I jumped into the shadows and appeared in front of him making him fall down.

"Not fair!"he yelled.

"Uhh...yes it is."I said helping him stand up.

TIMESKIP-Night

"You gonna read it,yet?"my shadow asked.

"Yeah,I think I'm ready."I said taking the book and opening it on page one.
