Chapter 15-Can we talk?

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I heard Zane talking to someone,one of his guards,to be exact his head guard.I closed my eyes and slowly went into the shadows,a few seconds later I'm in Zane's room with my shadow messing with his thoughts,Zane finished talking,it was mostly about Aphmau's relic,his guard left.I closed my eyes and went out of the shadows,Zane turned to me and froze.

"(Y-Y/N),is it really you?"he asked.

"Yes,I came here so we can talk."I said.

He slowly walked up to me but thinking of what happened I took a step back and turned my head away,he took a step back.

"What do you want to talk about?"he asked leaning on a wall looking at me with a smirk.

"Everything,Zane..."I turned to him"I'm confused,I was in your Jury two times,then I died and--"he cut me off.

"(Y/N),calm down.Look,I know you can't trust me but please try."he said giving me a smile.

"Okay,I'll try."I said smiling back at him."I was in your Jury two times and I had the name ShadowWolf,since I met you I started feeling weird and scared.Now,I have the Shadow Relic in me and all of these powers and thoughts keep messing me up."I said taking a deep breath."Then Hyria tells me my mother was called Julia Night and that Avianna (L/N) and Aaron and my fake family,she even gave me a book of my family's history,I can't read that."I said walking to the window.

Zane walked around his room thinking of what to say,he stopped and looked at me.

"It's usually hard to say this but I'm sorry for messing your life up,I read a few books about your relic but I think you know things about it and the last thing..."he walked to me"read that book."he said.

"I can't believe but I'm happy I talked to you."I said.

"I'm happy I just saw you,now...how can I say this..can we talk about what happened between..you know.."he said nervously smiling.

"Yes."I said giving him a kind and warm smile.

"I'm sorry."he said.

"I'm sorry too."I said.

"I should have kept my feeling to myself."he said.I stared at him trying to talk..

"You shouldn't,everyone needs to say what they feel,nobody said you can't."I said.

"(Y/N)"he said turning his head away from me"I didn't mean it like that."he finished.

"Zane,did you mean..."I said stopping in my sentence looking away from him"I can't stop that,can I?"I smiled.

"I guess you can't."he said.

"You know--"he cut me off.

"I know,it just helped to tell you even if you knew."he said leaving the room.

I sat on the floor under the window until I got a guest.

"That was awkward."my shadow said.

"Why were you listening then?"I asked.

"I just wanted too."

"Okay,tell me the truth now."

"Fine,in that book there is something similar to this,just read it already."

"Maybe later."

"N.O.W."

"L.A.T.E.R."

"How about you talk to your father?"

"Fine."

TIMESKIP-Nether

"Ahh (Y/N),how are you?"my father asked with a devilish smirk.

"I'm good."I said.

"Are you ready to rule this world just like before?"he asked.

"Before?What do you mean by 'before'?"I asked leaning on a wall.

"You didn't read the book yet,did you?"he asked.

"No,I don't think I will."I said.

"If you want to get your life as it was before then just read it."he said.

"FINE!"I yelled going through the portal and back to O'Khasis.

I walked around the castle trying to find Zane but I had no luck,I walked onto a little hill and saw Jeffrey sitting on the grass.

"J-jeffrey?You're here!"I said smiling.

"Yeah,I am.I came so we can go back to Phoenix Drop."he said.

"I can't go back,I need to fix my life where I messed up."I said looking down at O'Khasis.

"What do you mean?"he asked.

"My life was normal until I joined Zane's Jury,please Jeffrey let me do this."I begged.

"Only if I can help."he said.

"I don't want you to get hurt,I might lose control and hurt you or someone else."I said.

"You won't,I know you too well."he said giving me a smile.

"Okay,but if I do anything bad please forgive me,I just feel like these powers are leading me to a bad path."I said.

"Don't worry,I'll understand."he said.

TIMESKIP-1 week

3rd person P.O.V.

Everything was normal in O'Khasis,Zane let Jeffrey stay because he's (Y/N)'s close friend,Jeffrey usually woke up early to train with (Y/N) while Zane would talk to his guards about Aphmau or the Shadow Lord.(Y/N) didn't mind her shadow bothering her about the book she got,neither did she care,but she had a feeling like something was wrong inside of her,but she couldn't place it.Jeffrey and Zane noticed her weird behaviour but when they mention it (Y/N) just ignores the question and acts like everything's alright,until she had enough.

It was late at night,you could feel the cold wind go through your hair.(Y/N) walked into her room,she took the book and sat outside on the grass.She switched views between Zane's and Jeffrey's room and then she opened the book...
