Chapter 19-Dreams

Sorry that I'm late,I wanted to update last night but I fell asleep while watching TV,anyway enjoy the chapter!

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I opened the door and saw no one,I looked down the hallway and only saw a few guards,I went back inside my room,I stopped in my tracks and saw that my window was open.

"What...I don't remember opening my window."I said closing the window.

"Heh,oh well..."Makaya said in a slow,deep and mysterious voice.

"I'm not in a mood to talk to you,Makaya."I said.

"Oh come on"he said devilishly smiling at me"That was in the past,this is now."

"Go."I said,it left Makaya in shock.

"I can't leave,I'm your shadow."he said.

"You are not my shadow."I spat.

"I guess you're right,let's say I'm yours...."he paused"demon."he said vanishing into ashes.

"That's it!I'm sick of your games,I need some answers!"I said.

"You won't find any..."he said only showing his smirk and red eyes show,he left.

I took my (W/C),(C/C) cloak,my books and started making my way out the castle door but,of course someone had to stop me.I turned around and saw a guard.

"Where are you going?"he asked.

"Oh!I'm going on a walk."I said.

"In the middle of the night."he looked at me"nice try,where are you going?"he asked,again.

"I need some questions answered,that's all I'm going to say."I said walking away.

"Are you ever coming back?"he asked.

"It depends."I said looking at the floor,I looked at him"If Zane,Jeffrey or anyone else ask about me,say you didn't see me."I finished.

"Alright,as you want."he said.

"Thank you."I gave him a smile"By any chance do you know what are Zane and Jeffrey doing now?"I asked.

"Well it is late so I think that Jeffrey is training and for the Priest,he told me he was tired so if anyone needs anything they can ask him tomorrow."he said.

"Thank you."I softly said smiling at him."May I get your name?"

"Lance."he said walking away.

I ran to Jeffrey's room,I opened the door and saw that he wasn't there,I guess I can't say goodbye.I walked to Zane's room,I slowly opened the door and saw that he was sleeping heh,even his mask fell off.I walked to him,it hurted me for not telling him the truth,for leaving like this but,I need to,I kissed his forehead and slowly walked out the room,I walked out the castle,O'Khasis and finally it was time for my new journey to begin,only this time...I was alone.

3rd person P.O.V.

-Zane's dream-

Zane walked around a village,he noticed a little boy that looked like him,he ran passed Zane holding a flower.

"Mommy!"he yelled,a woman walked to him,she looked like Zianna.

"Yes,Zuu Zuu?"she asked.

"I have this for you!!"the little boy yelled giving her the flower.

"Aww,thank you sweetheart!"Zianna said hugging him and putting the flower in her hair.

Zane turned his head and saw a little girl with (H/C) hair,(E/C) eyes and a smile,she was wearing a (F/C) dress,she looked sad.Zianna talked to the boy for a little while and then she left,the boy sat on the grass and looked at the sky.

"(Y/N)!!"someone yelled.

The little girl tensed up,she turned around and saw a man.

"What are you doing here?"he asked looking down at her.

"Nothing,I just wanted to take a walk."she said.

"Behind the bushes?Come on let's go home."he said walking away with the girl.

-End of Zane's dream-

Zane woke up and looked out his window,something didn't seem right.He walked to (Y/N)'s room,he knocked on the door,no answer.He noticed Lance standing near the castle door,he walked to him.

"Lance!"he yelled making him jump.

"Yes sir!"Lance said turning to him.

"Where's (Y/N)?"Zane asked.

"I don't know sir!"he said.

"I'll ask you one more time,where's (Y/N)!"Zane yelled,again.

"I don't know sir!"Lance said.

Zane turned around and went into his room,he was screaming inside.He looked at his window,he saw that his eyes went white and his skin went pale,he tried to calm down but there was no hope.Zane sat down and looked at the floor,his vision was black and white.

-(Y/N)'s dream-

(Y/N) walked on a path,she looked around the village,it was beautiful.She turned around and saw a little boy that looked like Zane,he ran pass her holding a flower.

He gave the flower to his mother,they talked for a while and then his mother went away and he sat on the grass,(Y/N)'s turned around and saw a little girl that looked just like her,she walked to her.(Y/N) went to touch her but her hand went through the little girl,she heard a man calling her.They started walking away,after a while they were out of sight,that's when everything went dark,she only heard a voice talking.

"I still remember his words,the moment,everything.It's hard knowing I won't see him anymore,I hate myself for not saying I love you back,for not being there for him,for running away.His words will always haunt me,they will stay written on my heart."the voice paused.

"You said,be soft.Do not let the world make you hard.Do not let the pain make you hate.Do not let the bitterness of Makaya steal your sweetness."What did I do?Everything you told me not to,I'm sorry Zane,he took over."

Then she heard crying"I'm sorry."

"Shhh...don't say that."a voice said,to be honest with you,it was Zane's voice.

"Don't trust him,(Y/N),don't trust him.Those words are lies."Makaya whispered.
