As joker mashed on the gas petal, the car went flying down the road. I looked over at him, as he kept one hand on the steering wheel, and the other on the stick as he shifted in different gears.
"Where are we going?" I said looking over at him, as he kept his eyes on the road. He didn't respond, so I turned my head, looking out the window.
Joker turned into a parking lot of a old warehouse , with the word "ACE chemicals" printed in bold letters on the walls. As joker parked the car, shutting off the engine, he looked over at me expressionless , opened his car door and got out, slamming the door behind him.
I got out the car slowly, and closed the car door behind me.
He walked towards the building, and I followed him, hoping for an explanation. When we approach the door of the warehouse, chains were bound around it. Joker pulled out his gun, aimed it at the chain, and pulled the trigger. The chains fell to the ground, and joker opened the warehouse doors. As the doors creaked open, joker walked in, and I followed behind him.
The warehouse reeked out chemicals, as we walked farther into the building. As we stopped, we stood on a ledge without any railings for precaution. I walked slowly towards the ledge, and peaked over it, looking down at big baths of green, oozing, liquid.
"Question" Joker said as he walked towards me, running the back of his hand down my arm. I turned around to face him, as he stood close to me.
"Would you die for me?" He asked softly, as I looked into his eyes.
"Yes" I said softly, as my breathing slowed.
"That's too easy" Joker said waving his hand up, as he looked away.
"Would you....would you live for me?" He said , as he turned his attention back to me. I stood in silence for a moment, trying to comprehend what he was asking.
"Mhmm?" He said, waiting for my response.
"Yes" I said softly, trying to hold my confidence.
"Careful" Joker said as he held up his index finger, keeping his eyes peeled on my face.
"Do not say this oath thoughtlessly" Joker said waving his hand in the air.
He slowly reached out towards my face, laying his hand across my mouth.
"Desire becomes surrender. Surrender becomes power" Joker said, closing his eyes shut, and reopened them, looking into my eyes. He slowly slid his hand down my face, and laid his index finger onto my lips.
"Do you want this?" Joker said, as he slowly ran his index finger down my bottom lip.
"I do" I said strongly, knowing that I wanted every part of him.
"Say it....say it..say it" joker said repeatedly ,as he closed his eyes, leaning his head slightly back.
"Pretty.pretty.pretty.pretty.pretty"joker said, as he slid his index and middle finger under my chin.
"Please" I said desperately,as I finished his sentence.
"God. You're so...good" Joker said excitedly, as he held his hands up, clasping them slowly into a fist.
He held his hand out towards the end of the ledge, gesturing me to jump over it. He took a step back, as I backed up towards the end of the ledge, facing him. I stared into his eyes, knowing that if I do this for him, then I could have him the way I wanted.
He held out his arms, and nodded slowly. I held out my arms, leaning backwards, letting my body fall over the ledge, and into a chemical bath.
As my body began to sink under, all I could think about is how much I loved him, and How much I needed him.
I sunk to the bottom, letting the world around me go black, letting my last breath of air fill my lungs. Right before I eased into the darkness, thinking in this very moment that my life was over, a pair of hands pulled me to the surface, and plant a soft kiss onto my lips. I gasped for air, looking into the eyes of the man I loved. He leaned back down , laying another kiss onto my lips, as I move my hands to the back of his neck, drawing his lips closer. He pulled away, letting out a loud laugh, as he tilted his head back. I wrapped my arms around his neck, and pulled him in for a hug.
He held me tight as we stood in the middle of a chemical bath laughing, as I watched the red and blue dye from off our clothes swirling around us.
"You saved me" I said calmly, as I pulled away and looked into his eyes.
He grabbed my hand, slowly leading me to the side of the bath to climb out after him.
As we climbed out, I noticed our clothes had been burned through, leaving holes in random areas.
"My glasses" I said giggling, as I reached my hands up to my face.
"You don't need those" Joker said smiling. As we head out the warehouse, and towards jokers car. I couldn't help but look down at all the holes in my clothes. I could still feel the burning sensation from the chemicals on my skin.
I got into jokers car, closing the door after myself, and we sped out of the parking lot.
My clothes were covered in the green chemical substance. And I tried not to pay attention to the burning sensation that it was causing all over my body.As we pulled into a parking lot of a tall, shiny , black building. Joker got out , shutting the door after him. I opened the car door, got out, and closed the door after me, looking up at the tall building. As we made our way to the entrance, the man in the suit that I helped break into Arkham, stood by the buildings entrance.
"This is Frost...he'll be keeping a close eye on you" Joker said, laying a hand on the mans shoulder.
I looked up at Frost , hoping he wasn't here to point another gun at my head.
"I'm not coming with you?" I said , pouting up at joker.
"I got business to handle" Joker said to me, as he nodded his head at Frost.
Frost grabbed my arm, and pulled me towards the glass doors, where the entrance of the building was. As we walked in through the building, passed the very elegant looking lobby, we stood waiting for the elevator door to open.
I tried to pull my arm out from between his grip, and his hand squeezed tighter, making me wince at the pain.
As the elevator door opened, he walked through the door, yanking me inside.
When the elevator door closed, he put in a pin into the key pad that sat on the wall beside the elevator door.
As the elevator began to move, his grip on my arm loosened , leaving my arm sore.
When the elevator stopped, the door slid open, leading us into a condo.
Frost stepped out, pulling me out the elevator by my arm, and the door slid closed behind me.
Frost let go of my arm, and looked down at me.
I looked around the condo, as my eyes caught a white piano in the corner of the room, and large couch that leaned near the wall on the opposite side. There were Windows everywhere, letting in the lights of the city.
"The bathroom is down the hall to the right" Frost said , as he pointed down a hallway on the right side of me. I turned around and look at him, and then down at my clothes. I knew he was trying to tell me to go wash up, and get rid of my clothes that reeked of chemicals.I walked down the hallway slowly, looking for a door on the right. As I approached the door, I walked in, closing the door shut behind me. My hands searched in the dark for a light switch , and when I finally find it, I switched it on.
The bathroom was big, and warm. I walk towards the shower, turning the knobs, trying to get the water to turn on. As the water began to run, I slid my pants off, throwing my shirt over my head. When I finally got out of all my clothes, I got in , letting the warm water fall down on my head.
As the water rinsed the chemicals off my skin, the burning sensation stayed.
I run my hands through my hair, closing my eyes, as the water fell down on me.
This was the first time I felt relaxed in weeks, as the hot water fell down on my skin.
I couldn't help but think about everything I've done these past couple of days. Who was this person I was becoming? I killed a man tonight out of anger, and felt relieved after I shot him.
I was letting go of all the things that was suppose to keep me normal, and embracing the fact that no one is actually sane.
I turned the knobs in the shower, cutting off the water, and getting out.
I walked over to the foggy mirror , and wiped it with my hand.
I gasped at the sight of my reflection, as my hands touched my pale face , and white hair. I looked down a my bare body, realizing that the chemical bath had bleached my skin white. As I looked back up at the mirror , running my hands through my white hair , realizing the colors blue and pink were dyed lightly onto the ends, from the dye off me and jokers shirts in the chemical bath.
A knock hit the bathroom door, as I kept my eyes peeled on myself in the mirror.
"You ok in there?" Frost said as he stood behind the closed door.
"I'm fine" I said to frost, keeping my eyes on myself in the mirror.
I looked like a entirely different person, knowing the chemical bath was the reason for it.
"I have some clothes for you...I'll leave it on the floor by the door" frost said behind the door, as my eyes stayed glued to the mirror, gripping the bathroom sink.
"Ok" I said back to him, and I heard foot steps walking away. I took a deep breath, and turned away from the mirror. I creaked open the bathroom door, grabbed the clothes from off the floor, and closed the door back quickly.
I slid on the bra, and underwear that frost had left on top of a dress. I held the up the short, silk, red dress. I slid it on, and it stopped midway of my thigh.
I looked up at the mirror, analyzing the short , silky , red dress, as the color stood out from my pale skin.
I walked out the bathroom, leaving the door wide open behind me as I walked down the hallway.
Frost stood at the end of the hall, eyeing the change of my skin color, then looked away.
