Chapter 2

Be Dave==>
I quietly sighed and grabbed some clothes before walking to the bathroom. I guess I could maybe ask Rose, she kinda knew my situation but she didn't really. I mean she knows that I'm a chick and I want to be a dude and she's fine with it but she doesn't know about my Bro. I sighed again and turned on the shower before stepping in. I thought for a while and just stood there letting cold water run down my body, it made me feel a little bit better about everything. I look at my scarred arms and and ran a hand over my scabbed cuts. They're starting to get a little old. I snapped out of my train of thought and stepped out turning off the shower in the process. I then dried myself off and got dressed before finishing packing my bag with the stuff I would need. I glanced around my room a couple more times and then look at the alarm clock on my bedroom table. 6:45. Alright, If I started walking to school I would get there at about 8:15. Or I could steal Bro's bus pass and get there at 7:30. Let's go with the first one. I don't have to talk to anyone and I can think to myself in peace. I walked into the living room and glanced around seeing no sign of Bro or anything really. I sighed and frowned looking around for anything else I might need, seeing nothing I walked out of the apartment and down the stairs. Once I got outside I looked around and started walking to school, there weren't many people outside, mainly just other driving by but I didn't mind.

Be Karkat==>
I groaned and unplugged my alarm clock as it went off. I rolled over in my bed and pulled the covers over my head. I heard Kankri walk in and pull open my black curtains, he said something about me getting up and breakfast but I was too tired to actually listen. The next thing I knew he had pulled off my blankets and pushed me out of my bed. I hit the wood floor with a thud and groaned in annoyance and slight pain.  "Karkat if y9u d9nt get up n9w y9u will 6e late f9r sch99l, Cr9nus has already left f9r w9rk and I will 6e leaving in 30 minutes.", he walked out and closed my door. I stood up and ran a hand through my hair before walking into my bathroom. I got ready for school and got all my shit together, what day was it, did I have gym? I shurgged and walked into the kitchen not caring if I got detention or not. Kankri set a plate at the table for me and I mumbled a thanks before eating it. He got his stuff together and I watched him out of boredom, something was off about him, his posture and stance seemed a little different and the collar of his sweater was tugged up more. It's not creepy, when you live with someone your entire life you notice small differences with behavior and shit. I decided to not question it and continued eating my breakfast. I'll probably ask him after school or text him during the day. I finished my meal and put the dishes in the sink, covering a yawn with my hand I walked back into my bathroom and took my anxiety pills. After that I grabbed my bag and walked to the door, "Bye Kankri! See you after school!" I called into the house and waited for a response. "G99d6ye Karkat! 6e safe, I l9ve y9u!" I slightly rolled my eyes but said the phrase back, we never said it too much before Signless and Dad, but now it's a habit, even if we're mad at eachother. Most of my friends make fun of me for but I tell them to fuck off because he's the only biological family I've got less. Cronus is family but he's not related to me. I walked to the bus stop after shutting the door behind me and pulled out my phone and earbuds knowing someone would try to talk to me, but when I got to the stop I saw Kanaya and decided to put them away. "Hey Kanaya.." I mumbled a little tiredly and stood next to her. "Good Morning Karkat, How Did You Sleep Last Night?", she looked at me with a soft smile. How the hell was she so awake already? "It was okay, not as bad as it's been.", I looked at her and shrugged. She smiled and nodded, "I Am Glad to Hear That, Has Anything Exciting Happened In The Previous Hours That We Have Not Been Together?" I paused for a second and thought, "I wouldn't say exciting but I met someone yesterday after the court trial..", I looked up hearing the bus and got on sitting in a seat with her. I told her about meeting Dave and she smiled, "He Sounds Nice, Perhaps We Should Invite Him To Lunch.", I shrugged and looked out the window watching houses and buildings go by. Maybe Kanaya was right, it's not like it would kill anyone.

Be Dave==>
I walked up the steps of my school and slightly jumped feeling someone jump-hug me. "Hey Dave!! What's up!", I slightly smiled and hugged my girl friend back, girl-friend, not girlfriend, we're not dating. I pulled away to see Jade and smiled 'Sup Jade, how's it going?' she beamed at me "Great! How about you?" I shrugged and did a 'meh' motion with my hand. She tilted her mouth to the side like a ':/' face. "Laaame, you're supposed to be a cool kid who does cool stuff." I rolled my eyes behind my shades 'Yeah well I got a busy schedule, like black friday up in this bitch, there's a sale on Dave's and everyone wants one, but there's a limited amount because I'm just so damn awesome, alright?' she giggles and smiles "Whatever you say, wanna head to the library? I have to return a few books." I shrugged and nodded, why not, the library was quiet and I could think to myself. She smiled at me and grabbed my arm starting to drag me. I silently hissed in pain, not only had she grabbed on a bruise, but her pulling my arm was opening some recent cuts. We got the library and I found a place to sit while she turned in books and checked out a few others. I stared out the window and began to day dream not noticing more people walk into the library.

Be Karkat==>
I got off the bus and started telling her about how I met Dave, we both decided that the bus rides to and from school was our 'alone together time', meaning, we were together but both doing our own things. She would normally read or text Rose and I would play games on my phone or text Sollux and Terezi. Anyway, we started walking to the library, that's where we would wait for Rose, Kanaya's girlfriend, and her sister, Roxy. We walked inside and sat at the table we usually did, I scanned around and saw Jade. I had to admit, she was pretty and cute but way to excited sometimes, I continue looking around and I saw Dave. I arched and eyebrow and watched him, he was looking around probably day dreaming and not paying attention. Kanaya noticed my stare and looked over. She leaned over and whispered to me, "Karkat, Who Is That?", I glanced at her and then looked back at Dave. "That's the guy I met yesterday..", she looked over and her lips made an 'o'. I saw Rose and Roxy walk in and saw Kanaya smile. I was still watching Dave and saw him stand up walking over to Rose, did they know each other? I watched them and internally laughed seeing she was taller than him by a good inch, they talked for a little bit about something and Rose nodded giving him a hug, she smiled at him and then walked over to us. Kanaya smiled wider and she approached and I chuckled, she was so in love and it was pretty damn cute, not gonna lie. I liked seeing Kanaya happy, she was like a sister to me.

Be Dave==>
Thank fucking god Rose said I could stay with her. She has a sister and two brothers but I don't give a shit, I need a feelings jam with sister from anotha' mister. God that was lame, never think that again. I sighed and sat in my seat again waiting for Jade. When she came back she had about 5 books on dog science. What a fucking nerd, she's so sweet. She so damn smart but it's all about puppies, like holy shit if that doesn't give you a cavity than I don't know what will, gonna be broke from all your dental bills all my teeth are useless now because of how sweet Harley is. She smiled at me and whispered, "We can go now if you want, or I can text John to meet us in here.", I waved it off signaling that I didn't care which and she nodded pulling out her phone. I assumed she texted John because 20 minutes later John showed up and we went to class.

(( I'm so damn sorry, I have writers block and school is a bitch, if you've got any ideas for this, comment because my brain flat lines about every five minutes and I can't think.
