Mission Report December 21st 1967:

Everything happened so fast, well faster than normal. She was unfrozen, brought into a prep room, her hair washed, nails cut. She was poked and prodded, but none of it took any affect since she was still groggy from the unfreezing. This was the usual treatment when they unfroze her. They would dress her in her usual combat gear, then send her and Soldier on their way after a short description of their mission. But this time was different, they did her makeup, styled her hair, and put her in a fancy evening gown.

She was taken out of the prep room and into the room where they were given their assignments. As usual she was accompanied by Soldier, who was also sharply dressed. He wore a dress shirt with a tie and dress pants with dress shoes. She looked at his hands to see that they were covered by gloves. She had to admit they looked good, but she shook her head and focused on the mission they were being given. An assassination, nothing they haven't done before. They handed her a small vile of clear liquid and told her to put it into the targets drink. They were shown a picture of their target and were driven to the location. What they forgot to mention was their target was at an event for A-list people.

"What name did they give you?" She asked as they walked up the steps to the mansion. He looked at the name card they stuck to his chest, trying to read it.

"Sebastian." He said simply. "You?" He held his arm out for her to grab, which she did.

"Vanessa." She answered as they walked through the door and were greeted by a bright room filled with people. They walked through the room smiling and nodding at people as they did so. "I don't see them." She told him, in Russian.

"They'll present themselves eventually." He answered back in the same language. "Patience." He smiled, knowing that was the one thing she hated to hear. She elbowed him, but couldn't help but crack a smile.

"We only have one shot at this so when we do see them, you'll have to keep them distracted enough that I can slip this into their drink." She informed him.

They stood near the back of the room, watching everyone dance and sway to the music. Then the song ended and a new one started, a sad but sweet melody flowed through the room. She felt an elbow nudge her side, she turned and looked to soldier, who stood beside her with his hand outstretched toward her. She raised an eyebrow at him in question. He just shrugged and kept his hand out for her to take, a glint of something she didn't recognize shone in his eyes.

"It'll help us search the room and not look suspicious." He reasoned.

She sighed and took his hand as he lead her to the dance floor. She placed a hand on his shoulder while the other held his hand. He wrapped his arm around her waist as they swayed to the music, making their way around the room. As they danced they music's tone got slightly more happier. He spun her around and pulled her back toward him, something about that move made something click in the click in the back of his head that he couldn't put a finger on. He looked down at her, so he could look at her. Those brown eyes... Something about them too made something click. Then it hit him, it hit him like a ton of bricks.

"Emily..." He whispered under his breath.

"Hmm?" She asked, her face holding no remembrance of that name.

"Nothing." He shook his head. "It's not important. Did I tell you how nice you look? " He spun her around again, making her smile softly.

"No." A light hint of blush formed on her cheeks. "You don't look to bad yourself, but what brings the sudden flirting?" She smirked. That smirk, another ting about her that drove him crazy. The sudden urge to lean in for a kiss almost became unbearable, she also leaned in but before their lips could meet she noticed someone new walk into the room. "He just walked in..."

"Who?" He asked, his lips hovering over hers. She pulled away and nodded to the man mingling with his guests.

"Let's go." She let go of his hand and walked over to the man, with Solider following quietly behind her.

"Emily?"

"Hmm?" She looked up at the three people staring at her. They were all sitting in a van, with two guards near the front of the van. She tried to move her arms but the were stuck in some sort of handcuff.

"Are you okay?" Sam asked, looking at her. "You haven't blinked for ten minutes."

"I'm fine." Emily managed to get out.

"How could you not tell me?" Steve asked, he sounded betrayed. "He looked right at me and he didn't even recognize me." He looked away from her.

"How is that possible? It was like 70 years ago." Sam asked.

"Zola did experiments on him the night we went to rescue him." Emily looked at Steve. "Whatever it was, allowed him to survive the fall."

"None of this is your fault Steve." Natasha mumbled. She held her hand to the bullet wound in her shoulder.

"I know, it's hers." Steve looked at Emily dead in the eye. "Was all of this a set up? Gain our trust to turn Bucky into that, that thing?" Emily didn't answer him, she just looked down at the floor of the truck, taking all the blows Steve was giving her. She let him take his anger out on her.

"Hey, lets not start this know." Sam interrupted, he looked at Natasha. "If we don't get a doctor here, she's going to bleed out." Sam then looked to the two guards watching them. Emily didn't even notice that they were there.  One of them pulled out a taper baton, looking like they were going to use it on them but turned and used it on the guard next to them.

"Ah, that thing was squeezing my brain." It was a woman, she looked at Sam, then Emily. "Who are these guys?"
