I slowly opened my eyes and saw the light shining through my window. My phone kept beeping as I reached to shut the alarm off. I looked at the time, 8:30. I stretched and sat up. I poured myself some orange juice and sat on the couch just enjoying the quietness when I heard my phone buzz. I pick it up to see an unknown number calling.

"Hello?" My voice cracks as I try to clear my throat.

"Hey sorry its me, I hope I didn't wake you up. We're down at the studio and I was wondering if you could come down? If you're not busy." Ross's voice made me instantly smile.

"No I'm not busy. Yeah sure what time?"

"Like noon"

"Yeah ill just change and eat and head that way."

I hung up the phone and quick showered, brushed my teeth, and changed into a black short pencil skirt, a casual blouse and a chunky necklace. Added some bracelets of course and some black heels, ate a quick banana and headed over to the record label.

I pulled into the parking lot and and walked inside. The receptionist walked me to the room they were recording in. They were in the middle of a song but Ross smiled when he saw me.

I sat down in a chair in the room while I listened to their song. Watching Ross sing made my heart race. When the song finished Ross opened the door from the booth and wrapped me in a hug as soon as I stood up.

"I'm so glad you could make it."

"Yeah not like I have anything better to do" I smirked but I couldn't take my eyes off of his.

"We have some news." Riker's voice took me by surprise as I looked at him smiling.

"What is it?" I asked

"We got our first concert and we want you to go with us." Rikers smile got bigger

"Really? Where is it?"

"It's in Burbank." Ross wrapped an arm around me and pulled me to his side.

"When do you leave?"

"Tomorrow morning. Well drive the tour bus up and back that night after the concert."

"Ok sounds good. This is amazing." I smiled at Riker.

"Are you guys rock stars yet?" In walked a guy in a suit. He smiled as he closed the door and turned to see us all.

"We'll I think we nailed the last take." Rocky spoke quickly as if to beat Riker saying something else.

"We'll that's good and who's this?" The man turned to me and eyed me up and down.

"This is Brooke, she's a friend of the bands." Riker seemed almost proud of me.

"She looks like more then a friend." He smirked at Ross who blushed.

"Tell me sweetheart what do you do for a living?" All the attention in the room was on me.

I tried not to get too flustered.

"Ugh I applied at a clothing store a few days ago. I just moved here a few weeks ago."

"What do you want to do?"

"Music."

"You should here some of her stuff, it's pretty good." Ross beamed and gave me a look almost as if he was trying to see how red my face would get.

"We'll you've definitely got something about you that's sellable." He smirked and although it was weird I took it as a compliment. "Alright rest up for the concert and ill see you all tomorrow." He left the room and we soon followed.
