Chapter 22; The actor

Juliet’s p.o.v

“So what should we do?” Doll asked as she and I both sat down on the couch.

“I don’t know, but let’s think of something. This maybe the last break I get in a long time.”

“That’s true. I know what we should do! Mercy is having a big ass party for his birthday at his club. He invited me to come. Let’s go together.” He suggested.

“That sounds like a good idea.” I smiled.

“I am doing your makeup and hair let’s get going.” She said before dragging me upstairs. I didn’t really want to go to the club, but Mercy is an old friend and I need to enjoy my prime. My life is about to get really busy soon so I want to enjoy it.

“Damn girl, you look hot!” Doll said after she was done dressing me up.

“Are we ready?” She asked before walking down stairs. She was wearing the dress I gave her for her birthday. She loved that thing.

“I am ready!” I shouted as we reached the bottom of the stair case.

“Let’s go!” She shouted. I think she was a little more excited about this then I was.

The driver was already waiting outside, and so were my body guards. After what happened last time, I had my manager higher me a whole new security team. Of course, Bear was the main leader. After all, he is the best body guard I know.

The drive wasn’t that long considering we just laughed and talked the whole time. When we pulled into the parking lot my body guards made sure we had a secure way of getting inside.

“Damn it’s so loud in here!” Doll screamed after we were in the VIP section. “I am going to get something to drink, I will be back!” She screamed over the music.

“Okay!” I screamed back. I was not that into the whole club scene, it was always so loud, and there were always too many people.

When Doll came back she made me go dance with her on the dance floor. There were so many people that I got lost in the crowd.

“Hey baby, how about we go get down in the bathroom.” Some jerk said touching my ass.

“Get off!” I pushed him away.

“Come on babe, oh the things I could do to you!” Another said grabbing my ass with both his hands. The next thing I knew I was pressed up to a wall in the corner of the club and these guys were feeling me up. I tried to scream but they didn’t care and nobody was paying attention. The lights were flashing and the music was so loud, nobody could see or hear me.

“Hey! Get off of her right now!” I heard someone scream. Then I felt their bodies being moved off of me.

“Are you okay?” I looked and saw Ian standing there. “Here,” He said placing his jacket around me.

“Where are your body guards?” He asked before grabbing my hand. He looked so concerned about me. I was surprised he was even here.

“I don’t know. I was just on the dance floor and the next thing I know I am being groped by two different guys. I don’t even know where my friend is.” I said trying not to freak out.

“Don’t cry, you are okay now” He said wrapping one arm around my shoulder. “It is a good thing I was watching you.”

“You were watching me?” I asked shocked. Why was he watching me?

“I guess that is stalker-ish. I don’t mean it like that. I saw you with your friend walking towards the dance floor and I couldn’t take my eyes off of you. When I saw those guys touch you I ran towards the dance floor, but by the time I got there they had you over here. God only know what they would have done to you if I had not stopped them.” He sighed.

“Oh” I said.

“Let’s go find your body guards, I bet they are freaking out. Sorry I didn’t mean to come off like a stalker…” He wandered.

“I don’t think you are a stalker. I think you are my hero. I was so scared.” I said placing my head on his shoulder. He lead me back towards the dance floor and over to the VIP section. He held on to me tightly and I knew I was safe in his arms. It was strange the way he made me feel…there was something about him…

“Oh my god! Juliet! I was so worried.” Doll screamed as we got to the table.

“I am okay” I said as Ian helped me into a chair. My security guards swarmed around me.

“What happened?” Bear screamed at Ian. Doll sat next to me while Ian told them what he saw.

“Come on we are going home” Doll said as Ian helped me up. My head hurt so badly and I felt like I was going to throw up.

Ian walked me outside, word had got out that I was in the club so there was paparazzi and fans surrounding my car. I covered my head with Ian’s jacket as we walked to the car. We hurried in and ten minutes later we were on the way. This was another reason why I hated going out. Paparazzi was always annoying.

“Are you okay?” Ian asked me once we were in the car.

“Yeah, I am fine. It was just so loud in there.”

“I agree” He smiled.

“How do you guys know each other?” Doll asked while elbowing me in the side.

“We met earlier today at the studio. I was running late to an audition when I bumped into Juliet and my script flew everywhere. She was nice enough to help me pick it up.” He smiled.

“Did you get the part?” I asked him.

 “I didn’t…some Australian guy got it. But, they said I was really good.”

“Did they say which Australian guy?” Doll asked. Oh lord.

“I think his name is Liam…Liam something.” He said.

“Hemsworth” I said rolling my eyes.

“Yeah, that’s it. How did you know?” He asked looking at me.

“That Australian guy is my EX-boyfriend.” I said looking out the window.

“Oh. I am sorry.” He said looking down at his hands.

“It’s not your fault.” I smiled at him.

The driver stopped the car. We were now outside of a beautiful mansion.

“This is my place. Thank you for the ride.” Ian said before climbing out of the car.

“Thank you for saving me” I smiled.

“Damn! He is hot!” Doll screamed after we drove away.

“I know right.” I screamed back.

“Looks like someone has a hero” She smirked. “And he is an actor. I thought you were done with them.”

“I am. Ian isn’t my boyfriend, he is just a friend.”

“A friend who saved you from being raped, not to mention a hot friend.” She said giddily.

“Okay, okay” I laughed at the way she acting.

“Oh my god! He was on Lost and he is on Vampire Dairies! It says that they just finished taping the final season.”

 “Awesome” I said rolling my eyes. I was not interested in dating an actor; again, I didn’t care how hot he was.
