Lapis and Peridot were watching Camp Pining Hearts, Lapis shipped Percy and Paulette, while Peridot on the other hand shipped Percy and Pierre. They were having the ultimate shipping battle, then out of nowhere Steven teleported there and told them that it was Connie's birthday, Steven also told them that they were invited. Peridot wanted to go, so Lapis went to the party as well.
Peridot's POV:
"Hey Lapis we should go to the party!" I said, "mmhm I don't know, we have never gone to a human party" Lapis responded
"Yeah that's why we should go, it will be like a new experience!" Peridot said excited. "I am going to the party if you want to come, them come" Peridot said
Peridot was going to the warp pad, but then suddenly "Wait Peridot I'm coming with you" said Lapis "Great!" said Peridot happily
Lapis's POV:
Why am I doing this, I don't want to go to this stupid human party, what even is a birthday? I don't know why but I just want to be with Peridot, ever since that time she helped me with the Jasper Issue, I've always had a huge crush on her......
* Few Hours Later *
At the end of the party, everyone was dancing to Pearl's song that was suggested by Peridot, Pearl was not very happy about it but she didn't really care knowing that everyone has heard it already. Surprisingly she was dancing with Greg, that's weird I thought to myself I thought that they both hated each other because of the Rose thing... I was alone, I wasn't dancing with anyone I was sad to see that Peridot was dancing with Amethyst, I didn't want to ruin their relationship so I just went outside to cry... "Why doesn't Peridot like me! We've spent so much time together, and we both live in the same stupid barn!" I said while sobbing. Then out of nowhere I saw Peridot "I-I'm so sorry Peridot, I didn't want you to see me like this...." I said "I-I didn't know that you liked me, that's why I was dancing with Amethyst, why didn't you tell me?" Peridot said blushing a very deep crimson red "Wait you like me too!?" I said while also blushing a very deep crimson red.
Peridot's POV
Oh my stars! She likes me too! I've always had a crush on Lapis to be honest, she's pretty, and she is kind..... "Hey Peridot, would you like to dance with me?" She said "Y-Yes" I replied.....
Steven's POV
OMG, I saw Lapis and Peridot dancing, they are like my OTP #Lapidot #Meepmorp and they looked like they were having fun too. To be honest I've started to ship them ever since I saw them together. I mean just look at them they're so cute together like Oh mer god
* Steven fainted because the following was to spooky for him to see (I guess) *
Lapis gave Peridot "the look" and Peridot gave Lapis "the look" back, and they both kissed
* All Lapidot Shippers fainted *
