Just Let Me Know (Nam-Joon X Reader)

Chapter 3

*your pov*

   You woke up to the sound of laughter and the smell of cooking. You got out of the bed you don't remember falling asleep and the room was dark, the only light coming in was through the window. You found your way to the door and opened it.

"Y/N!"

"You're up!"

"Finally...!"

"Hyung said we couldn't eat without you!"

"Not that we minded!"

"She's not talking...!"

"Is she dead?"

"Hyung! She's not dead!"

   Nam-Joon hushed them all, "She just woke up. Don't be so loud." He placed his hand on your shoulder. "Are you feeling alright?" You nodded your head, but was still to tired to speak. "Good. We'll give you some time to wake up." He helped you to the couch, and you sat down next to Jimin.
   "Are you still tired Y/N?" You shook your head and softly smiled. "Not really. Just trying to stay awake." He smiled back at you, "Ok. Well, wake up soon. We all wanna hang out." He rubbed your back for a quick second, then left so you could wake up.

   After a few minutes you were wide awake. Nam-Joon was sitting next to you on the couch. "Are you awake?" "Yeah. But I wasn't asleep, was just trying to stay awake. But I'm good now." He stood up and helped you off the couch. "Well Jin and J-Hope made dinner, let's go eat."
You entered the kitchen, and all the boys looked at you.

"Y/N!!"

"You're upppp!"

"You said that earlier!!"

"Yay!! Sit next to me!!"

"Finally, I'm hungry."

"Stop being mean Yoongi!"

"Yeah!"

"Boys!"

Monster shut them all up, "She is up! Yah? How bout we eat and we can bombarded her later. Ok?"

"Ok!"

"Sure!"

"Let's eat!"

   After everyone ate, you said you were going to do the dishes. "Thank you Jin. And thank you Hope!" Jin smiled, "It was no problem. Thank you for volunteering to do the dishes. Oh, Jungkook!" Jeon ran into the kitchen when he heard Jin call him. "What is it hyung?" "Will you help Y/N do the dishes? It will go faster that way." Jeon smiled and nodded, "Yes!" "Thank you, the rest of us will get the movie ready."
   You washed and Jeon rinsed, "After we finish washing, we'll hand dry them. But for now, just set them on the dish towel to dry." "Mhm... Ok, thanks for helping Kookie." He mumbled under his breath, but you heard what he said clearly. "Thank you for not leaving." "What do you mean?" After washing the last plate you began to dry the dishes. Jeon stayed silent and dried with you.
   "Kookie? Did you here me?" He nodded, "Yeah." "Then answer my question!" He could tell you were getting irritated, so he answered you. "Thanks for staying with us. We don't usually do this, we don't connect with the ARMY like we do you. I mean we love them all but, we don't instantly connect."
   He paused for a moment then smiled. "Only a few hours with you, and we all already think you're great." At this point the dishes were dried and you both were putting them away.
   "Oh, I'm not that great! You boys, you are the great ones. You all mean so much to me. And to be here with you, it's so unreal. I feel it could be a dream, and I'm gonna wake up to find you all gone." You put your head down, you made yourself sad without meaning to.

*jungkook's pov*

She looked sad, she really didn't know how great she was. "I know... We've only been friends for not even a day... But you really are great. And the others think so as well." She still held her head down, so I put my fingers at the end of her chin and tilted her head up.
"Why are you crying Y/N? You shouldn't be crying..." She gave low laugh but her face brightened up. "I'm not sad though, I'm crying because I'm happy." I knew it was lie, but she put on a good smile. "You are sad, you think this is a dream." "I do. But I know it's not. I really am happy!" She put up the last dish, "Now. Let's go watch a movie shall we? I fell asleep on the last one I tried to watch!"

She took my arm and dragged me to the living room. She really is great, and we all think so. I just wish she could see it... I am so shy around girls, and I was at first with Y/N. But after talking for a little while, I'm not so awkward. I hope she doesn't leave.

*Nam-Joon's pov*

I know she doesn't wanna stay, but yet she does... She is really nice, and pretty. I hope we can all get to know her. I don't want her to leave.
