Some people are early morning risers. Some people naturally wake up early and get a jump start on their day. Jack was not an early riser.
"Jack, calm down, you are going to get on your flight on time. See, we are almost to the scanner," Miranda said. "Stop fidgeting, you're acting like a child. Take deep breaths...In and out." Sean took her advice and started slowly breathing to calm down his heart. Breathe in, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Breath out, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
"Next. Please take off all shoes and sweaters and place everything in the baskets as you go through the scanner." Miranda looked over to the airport officer and followed his directions. She looked behind and nodded at Jack to do the same. He listened and loaded his stuff in two baskets. He watched his stuff go through the scanner and followed closely behind when he went through the full body scanner. And like that, it was done. He was grabbing all his stuff and was running to his flight. Miranda followed closely behind, laughing quietly at his urgency.
"Jackkkk", she called. He looked back at her to see that she stopped. "This is my terminal. I'm on a different flight from you silly." Jack stopped and wrapped Miranda in a hug. He breathed in her scent and allowed himself to relax with her, realizing that this might the last time he can do this for a while. Long distance relationships are hard but he believes that this is completely worth it. He lets go of her and lightly kisses Miranda's forehead before giving her a happy smile and running off to catch his flight. Mir giggles at his childish antic and turned to board the flight. She placed her carry-on above her seat and sat down silently. She pulled out her phone to shoot Sean a quick text and listen to music until take off. She closed her eyes and sighed in content. This is the best trip ever.

Sean ran to his terminal as fast as he could and made it just in time as they were letting people board the plane. He handed the lady his ticket and rushed to his seat on the plane. He set his small bag next to his feet and rested his head back. I'll just take a quick nap...I'll be awake before we land I'm sure. Sean woke up 6 hours later to the flight attendant shaking him awake as all the other passengers are leaving. He groggily sat up and walked off the flight, but not before grabbing his carry-on. Sean reached into his pocket to check his phone, only to realize that it had died. He groaned in discontent and went to grab his bags and a taxi to get him home.
When Sean arrived at his apartment he flopped onto his bed and stared at his ceiling. Home Sweet Home, he thought. He rolled over and plugged in his phone and waited for it to turn on. He stared at the ceiling and focused in on the different shades of white it was. He made note of how he closer the light was to the ceiling it gave off a more orange and yellow glow, reflecting the color of the light bulbs. He focused on how when the fan whirled above him, the shadows too moved in a circle but also how they blended in with the darker edges of the ceiling. He lost himself laying there staring at the differentiating colors he was now exposed to and for once in his new-found youtube life, he was at peace. He didn't feeling the stress of having to record new videos, or the anxiety of not being good enough for his fans. He was content. And he liked it.

Miranda had not been able to set her bags down before she was being attacked by Smoke. He clearly didn't like being left alone for so long. Mir chuckled and picked up the small animal and let him cuddle up to her chest,
"Hey Smoke, did you keep the apartment nice while I was gone," she asked the small kitten as she started to pet him. He began to purr in response to Miranda's return home. She set him down and fiddled with the ring on her finger. I'm engaged...this is real life. Not a dream. She smiled and pulled out her phone to let Sean know that she arrived home safe and sound. She typed out the text and started dragging her stuff back into her room. She started sorting out her laundry and putting away her luggage. It was midday by the time she was finished and she decided that she deserved to call in some pizza for all her hard work. When she grabbed her phone she felt it vibrate, and vibrate again and again. When she looked down she saw that she had hundreds of notifications on almost all her social media. She went onto her Twitter and saw her mentions blowing up.
@Mirmation and @Jack_Septic_Eye are apparently together. He deserves better.
@Mirmation was at IndyPop Con and was totally following @Jack_Septic_Eye like a lost puppy. What a freak.
@Mirmation is so cute. I'm so jealous of her.
@Mirmation is probably faking her soulmate just like @Jack_Septic_Eye 's last girlfriend. What a loser.
And it kept going on and on. On everything. Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and somehow they even got ahold of her personal Snapchat. There was some good mixed in there but there was just so much bad hate. She couldn't handle it. She slid down the wall and let the tears fall. So much for a good first night home.
