XII. BLOSSOMED

I never been out with both parties, group of Carl and my girls. Honestly, I'm little bit of excited this coming event. Carl invited me to come along. Their university will do Christmas festival in University Grandstand to celebrate the tradition annually,  where a lot of boy bands, singers, artists and dancers will perform. I never been experience to watch it live. All I know is watching them on television. But partly, I am sad that Sia is not around to be with us.

"Lei, do you ever want to come with us tonight?", Rachel my dormate intruded while I am searching for a nice outfit to wear.

"Oh, where? Sorry sis, Carl and the other group invited me already in the CHristmas party at St. Thomas University.", I Answered while looking at my closet.

"Really?, ME and the girls will go there later. So, see you then!, but wait what you'll wear later?", rachel asked me.

"Yay,", I giggled with an excitement drew in my face. "That's my big problem, I don't have any outfit left, all I have is my white uniform and uniform at school, pajamaas, pants, plain t-shirt.. UGHH, That's why I hate going out like this.", I continued.

"Aww, Lei. Don't worry. You can borrow mine. ", rachel told me as she left and went to her room.

"Hey? Rachel don't bother.. I can wear t-shirt and pants!!", but I think she didn't hear my words.

After 5 minutes, "here!", Rachel winked at me and left.

I saw a light blue coloured tank top, and white skirt she handed me.
I never went out with short skirt and sleeveless.

"Rachel, I don't think I can wear those! It's too revealing!", as I went out and go to RaChel's room. I saw her doing her make up already.

"Lei, you must explore new things. Come here, let me do your make up!", she pushed me and have myself sit in the chair.

"But wait,,,", I sighed.

"Just shut up, let me finish my art!", RAchel on her bossy voice. So, I Let her be.

After 25 minutes, I saw my self at the mirror. My smokey eye shadows perfectly smudged,  with dark eyeliner drew at my upper lid, light pink blush, and Rosy matte lipstick coloured my lips.

"Stay right there!, I Am not yet finish with your hair", Rachel grabbed the Hair Iron and begin to straightened my hair.
She's acting like she's grooming her baby little sister and never want to ruin her  'obra maestra'.

After an hour and a half, finally she let me go to my room and change. It's already 5:30, half an hour had left. So I Hurriedly, wear the clothes Rachel's lent me.

I wear my favorite knitted white sweater as I put my sandals on. I always bring sweater or jacket with me whenever I go out in the evening. I have a cold intolerance which I can never be at ease without anything to warm me.

"Hey, are you ready? I'm here at the front gate", Carl texted.

5 minutes before 6, he's always early.
I sprayed my Victoria secret perfume before I lock my room.

"Rachel, I gotta get going. You take care, see you there!,", as i loudly told her while passing by her room.

As I went down the stairs, I already seeing Carl's curly burly hair. I squeezed and giggled at the same time. I never been excited like this. Having a guy who always fetch me and then drive me home. But the sad part is, he's just being a good friend to me.

"Good day, wow you look great on that checkered polo and skinny black jeans Lad!", as I startled him with my compliments.

He looked at me like his Jaw dropped. He kept eyeing me for a little bit of time, gazing at me from top to my toe.

"Hey!", I said.

"Oh, Lei sorry! I don't expect that you are good on fashion!, you look beautiful", he said smiling.

Did I just heard a compliment from him? I am beautiful?, I Doubted my self but I felt thrilled with the words he said.

"Haha, Carl don't start joking at my face. Let's go", I didn't say 'thank you' instead. WTF, did I say??!.

Luckily, Carl got a spot to park his Car. The lot already crowded with high-end rides, I Cannot imagine how rich this young people is!, or should I say, how rich their family is. Their School is one of the famous university in the country. I always dreamt to be here, but I understand that there's no chance my parents let me. The tuition fees we can never afford.

"Lei, this way!", as I heard Joanne reaching out my hand. They are already here, along with JoSeph, Bry, and I nearly forgot Edward, and oh, Lhen of course! I said Hi, to this fellow as Carl lead the way.

"Lei, you surprised me! I never imagine you, showing yourself like this! You're beautiful  i like your tank top!", as Lhen complimented me on the way I look tonight.

We giggled like girl usually do when talking to girl's stuff.

I'm happy that I Have Lhen and JoAnne here, I Don't know how will I be comfortable without them.

We went straight ahead into the crowded dome', wow! Too much people are in here, and the music playing so loud that everyone  dancing while having there drinks. Some of them chatting, while waiting for the program to start.

Joseph, as always the VIP,have an access to the front row! We, girls, are so lucky that we are in the very front of the stage. We can totally see the artists nearer.

The program has started. When 'Little mix' showed in the stage and started singing their hit single "Hair", I Sang with them with all my heart out. I am sooo into this group that I memorized all their songs!

"Carl, this is so amazing! Thank you for allowing me to come here tonight! I am super duperr grateful!", as I said it loudly near his ear. I smell his perfume that so lovely.

"No, problem Lei! This is the start of our good partnership!", he replied back. I smiled at him. Maybe, i don't want to focus on what he said. I am enjoying right now with this cool girls dancing and singing in front of us. We dance like crazy, too!

"Lei, have some.", I Looked from behind and it's Edward handling me a bottle of beer while waiting for the next group to perform.

"Oh, thanks Edward, I'm thirsty", I said with a smile. I get the bottle and drink it like water. I am not used to drink beer, but for now I'll let myself enjoy the moment.

Edward, stood beside me and gave me a long stare. I suddenly blushed, that I can see him on my peripheral vision. So I faced him right away, "What are you looking?", I asked hurriedly.

"Nothing, it's just that I've thought you're not Lei. I hardly remember you, from the 1st time we met at the club before.", he chuckles.

"Oh, yah?, Don't I have the right to change my style like, .. right now?", I asked him sarcastically.

"NO, WORRIES.", he shrugged his shoulder and smile. His eyes went on to see the next performer.

This Guy's a little airy for me. Yes, he's handsome. Dark hair, tall like Carl's height,
Brown-skinned, unlike Carl he's white and blonde, but Edward has a twinklimg eyes,
And has a prominent nose. Anyways, why am i comparing this two!

I changed my attention to the stage, and I felt chilled when the emcee announces that "5 seconds of summer" is the next to perform!! Yay, I giggled. they started to sing "Amnesia". And I started to sing along with them.

"Hey, you're a good singer, huh. Maybe you want to come to the stage next and perform?", Carl came to me and teased me.

"Hey, don't bother me. I'm busy!, I need to focus here. Look at Luke Hemmings! He's so handsome!", I giggled like a sweet child. I forgot that I am talking with a guy.

"That Luke? Tsk.., maybe, you go to clinic. have an eye sight check, babe!", Carl busted in while laughing.

Wait, what? Babe?, I don't wanna give any meaning about the way or what he said earlier. But at the back of my mind, how I wish...
