Never had I imagined a few days ago how dramatically my life would change. I sat looking across the table, my mind littered with thoughts. My brothers were the centre of attention and were loving every single moment of it. Marley had passed out alongside Gabriel's foot; I was contemplating whether it was from sheer exhaustion or the fact that Lola had over fed him. I was going with the latter. Looking at my wrist watch I had noticed the time. It was beyond the twins bedtime and I was not helping in not keeping them within a routine. "Gabriel, do you think I could put the twins to bed? It's far too late for them to be up, but if you mind them being in the next room so close to you, I'll take them home..." He shook his head at me, his lips moving up into a slight twitch. "Mia, how many times do I have to tell you. This is as much as your home as it is ours... They are home", he said simply and I nodded my head. I was falling and there was nothing to grab a hold of. His green orbs held my gaze and never faltered. My eyes drifted from his beautifully sculptured face, down to his chest. I was brought back to reality as he cleared his throat. He had caught me completely gawking at him and my face was beginning to light up like the fourth of July. "Mia?" I shook my head once again, trying to clear my head of the thoughts that had darkened with passion and fuelled the pool that sat now burning between my legs.

I got up quickly and walked over to my little brothers. So much had changed; was I being selfish that I had dragged them into this as well? Looking over them it didn't seem to bother them in the slightest way. "C'mon champs, it's bedtime. Lola do you mind helping me put them to bed?". There was a mixture of disappointed "awwwwwhs" from the twins and Lola was more than happy to oblige to my request. I knew that my brothers were adorable and held a certain charm, but my new found friends were wrapped completely around their little fingers and Mason and Noah knew that. Taking them each by the hand, they said their goodnight's to Reign, Luke, Sly and the girls. They hovered a little longer than usual in front of Gabriel as they tugged on his hair. They had quickly taken a liking to him and that warmed my heart.

Lola and I made our way through the house and I moved to push the door open. Lola grabbed my hand slightly and turned toward me. "Before you freak out, the girls and I may have changed their room a bit. Gabriel insisted on it and I hope that you like it". Changed the room? Why would they need to do that? I knew that Gabriel was more than happy to have us here, but I had never expected this. I turned the handle and was completely taken aback. The room that was once inhabited by a large king sized bed and white walls, now housed two matching queen sized beds within the centre of the room. The walls were filled with beautiful drawings of dinosaurs, trees and fairy lights that draped over the walls. I gasped, it was breath-taking. Within seconds the boys bolted out of my grip and were whizzing through the room. "Mia! Look! All of our favourite toys are here too! Just like back home!" Noah screamed. Suddenly I felt so emotional, never had I expected this. I sank to the floor and my tears began to betray me. "Oh my goodness! Mia are you okay? I'm so sorry if this has offended you..." I began to giggle uncontrollably. "Lola no... I'm not offended even in the slightest. This just, took me by surprise that's all. All of you, you're so caring and I never expected this. Not in my wildest dreams!" She looked at me like I was speaking another language. "Mia. We are your friends. We are supposed to take care of you?". All I could do was nod my head and sniff a little, I wasn't in the space to explain that I had been quite friendless back home with my aunt. I thought it would be appropriate for another time, and I wouldn't want to damper the twins mood. "I know you guys are excited, but you need to get into bed", I said this time with more finality to my voice. I had realized that I hadn't packed them any sleep wear and I was telling them to get into their new beds. As if reading my thoughts, Lola walked over to two matching drawers and pulled out matching sets of pyjamas. Goddess, did they miss anything? I beamed at her, not knowing what more to say. I would seriously need to make this up to them.
