We were cooking up a storm. I had snuck downstairs with the twins to help Lola prepare breakfast. I didn't think Gabriel would have been too pleased to have Noah and Mason jumping about at 7 in the morning.

It was a morning filled with laughs and a few secrets the boys wouldn't be pleased to know was shared. The twins laughter rang through the air as they chased after Marley with a piece of bacon hanging from his mouth.

We had made waffles and pancakes. Bacon, fried mushrooms and tomatoes. The spread was rather large but we thought it was a good idea to feed the four monsters before we left. Having them hungry and therefore grumpy all the way to my home town would not be very pleasant. Lola had explained to my brothers that we needed to go away for a few days, but Heather and their new favorite guards - Duke and Neil would feed them as much cake as their hearts desired. I felt horrible having to leave them behind, but this was something that had to be done.

Earlier I had explained to the girls why we were taking our little road trip and they were more than understanding. We were still discussing it, however in low whispers, we did not want to alarm Noah or Mason.

Taylor and Jade were trying to rationalize the situation. "I think her aunt was just trying to protect her..." Jade trailed off and Taylor nodded her head in agreement.

"But she knew that Gabriel would find her and that they would mate eventually. If she really wanted to protect her, she should've brought her back to the manor sooner! She hasn't been taught the basics of self-defensive! Is that not being careless?" Lola added I was trying to see this from every angle but I agreed with Lola.

My aunt should have taken the precautions. Taught me to defend myself, train me to be the best Luna I could be. It would've have made this entire transition so much easier. With university coming up, I had no idea how I was going to manage it all.

"I think we should hear what she has to say. But I do agree with Lola..." At that moment Reign, Luke and Sly walked into the kitchen. "It smells amazing in here girls! Please. Spare no time! Give me one of everything!" Reign shouted throwing his hands about. Obviously Luke and Sylvester wore their morning faces and nodded in my direction. I actually managed a smile from both of them. After 5 more minutes Gabriel walked in, not too impressed that he woke up alone this morning. I handed him a cup of coffee and he pulled me in as he took a sip. Looking around at the kitchen, he smiled in approval. Out of the lounge area ran a screaming Mason and Noah who latched onto either side of Gabriels legs while giggling away. Letting me go, Gabriel picked each of them up and they nested their faces into his neck.

The sight before me garnered different reactions from everyone. Lola smiled in approval, while Jade and Taylor let out audible "aaaaahs". Reign however spat out his coffee, which resulted in Marley lapping it up from the floor. Luke and Sly's mouths were basically hanging on the floor. Ignoring their guys reactions entirely Gabriel spoke, as he set my little brothers on the kitchen counter with ease.

"You girls have been busy. What's the catch?" Gabriel said, slightly worried. I laughed and lead him to the only open bar stool left. "There's no catch. We just thought it wouldn't be wise to have you guys hungry, and therefore grumpy all the way to my aunts place. That's all!" he nodded in agreement. I moved to the middle of the kitchen facing all of them as they ate.

"So, I just wanted to thank you all for coming with me, I guess it'll give me a chance to get to know you all better. I just want you to know this is,... uhm, very different for me. We've always been kind of alone, thanks for well, accepting us so easily..."

"Mia, you're our Luna and you're great to have around! And those two adorable things! Just look at their faces! Reign added, as we all turned to find Mason trying to steal some more bacon for Noah.
