4th Chapter

Elisha was in complete and utter shock at the revelation that her boyfriend was a notorious murderer. She cautiously backed away from the entrance and ran for her life. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She was confused as she no longer felt she knew the man she was in love with. As she was running, she then bumped hard into a man. He turned around.

'Oi, man! Watch where you're going'

Elisha was in shock as the man resembled Terris. She screamed for her life as she continued to run, causing pedestrians to look at her in an unimpressed manner.

Almost ten minutes later, a shaken Elisha entered her apartment. She wiped the bit of sweat from her forehead and clutched onto her chest to regain some breath. Elisha then rushed to the kitchen and ran the tap in a glass cup. She drank the water in order to think. Her eyes ballooned in shock as she thought Terris might've seen her. She then bolted into the bedroom, got a suitcase and started loading as much clothes as she could. Elisha then got herself ready and left the apartment with  as much of her things as she could.

A few minutes later, Kaya was seen walking out of a corner shop with a bag of groceries when she spotted Elisha in a shaken state. Kaya ran to her

'Hey girlie!' she stated in an extrovert manner. Elisha the hugged Kaya 'Huh…what's wrong, girl?'

'It…it's Terris' Elisha stuttered 'I've been a FOOL!'

'What are you talking about?' Kaya asked as the women separated

'My sister was right…My family was right. Why is bullshit always happening to me?'

'Elisha, unless you tell me what's going on, how am I supposed to help in any way?' Kaya asked

'Terris is a MURDERER' Elisha cautiously whispered 'The man I gave up everything I loved for, is nothing but an evil, sadistic, cold hearted murderer'

'Shit…' Kaya exclaimed in a shocked manner 'How you know this?'

'…I witnessed it. Oh my Lord…I witnessed a murder' Elisha put her hand on her forehead in agony of the thought of the murder.

'Did you see who he killed?' 

'No…Well, yes I did…I think. Yes…no I did, YES! YES! I just do not know what to do now' 

'Well…You've got a suitcase, which is a good starting point, right?' Kaya stated 'That explains why some people call him 'Terror' the guy is a fucking psycho and I'm glad you got out of that bullshit'

'But I don't think I am' Elisha declared 'I don't know if he saw me or not'

'No way…Are you serious, Elisha?' Kaya asked rhetorically, as she was in disbelief 'Well…there is absolutely no way you can go back home, and you can't take any chances. You can stay at mine as we get our heads around this'

'Thanks, sis' Elisha smiled as the women began to walk down the road.

The following morning, Elisha was sitting in the living room, sipping on hot chocolate. Kaya arrived from her morning gym session

'Someone had a great time at the gym, I see!' Elisha grinned

'My muscle are KILLING ME SOFTLY, or painfully….' Kaya declared. She then placed the newspaper she had in her hand onto the centre table 'I need a shower'

'Why didn't you shower there? The way I can smell you isn't nice' Elisha laughed. Kaya falsely grinned and threw her sweat-filled gym towel onto Elisha. Elisha screamed and laughed as Kaya left to the bathroom. Elisha then put her hot chocolate drink down and picked up the newspaper.  In big bold letters it stated 'TECH MOGUL MURDERED'. Elisha looked at the victim and was gobsmacked. It was the same exact guy who she witnessed getting killed. Elisha started to shiver as she read the article. Minutes later, Kaya came from the shower to see Elisha in a gobsmacked state

'Oh no…What happened now?' she asked as she took a seat beside Elisha. Elisha shakily gave the newspaper to her 

'Kaya…This is the guy Terris murdered'

'No way… Lee Chung? I heard about him' Kaya declared 'Millionaire, he owns that technology chain of stores, FutureTech'

'I just read that. This is some bullshit, fucking Terris! That clown' Elisha exclaimed 'Lee was in debt so the police believe whoever killed him, Terris, might have been the one he owed money to. And I believe that'

'So what you gonna do?' Kaya asked

'The police are asking for witnesses. Terris is sick, and I want to be rid of him for good. He has hurt me in the past you know. Emotionally…but this isn't about me. An innocent man's life was taken yesterday so cruelly and regardless of anything, i have to come forward'

'Shit, you're gonna go through with it? Why make the police's lives easier, let them fuck off and do their job'

'You know I can't have this hanging over my head'

'You and your "conscience" I swear, you're heart is just too big sometimes'

'It's a blessing and a curse' Elisha declared 'I'm gonna do it. I doubt this is the first time Terris has killed, and it will be a nightmare if I get to know who his other victims were. But it's for all the victims, Terris needs to be caged'

'I hear that, I hear that. All I'm saying is, Elisha…I hope you know what you're doing'

Elisha faintly smiled as she made her way to the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Terris was at the apartment he shared with Elisha. The curtains were closed, making the apartment dim-lit. He sat in solitude. One of the guys from his posse arrived, and opened the curtains, revealing sunlight.

'FUCKING HELL, NICK!' Terris grunted in annoyance

'Why sit in the dark, boss? What's going on?'

'It's…it's Elisha. She's left me' Terris declared 'I can't see why. She just cleared mot of her things. i can't get through to her. What the fuck is going on?'

'Boss…I got something to tell you'

'Nick, i FUCKING SWEAR IF YOU LEAVE ME IN SUSPENSE, things will get very bad for you, very quickly'

'Boss…why you threatening me?'

'Nick, i've got too much SHIT on my mind right now, so just out with the information, please. Thank you!' Terris growled

'Alright…Last night…your chick saw you'

Terris was in disbelief

'What…'

'Elisha was peaking through and saw you deal with Chung'

Terris was in total disbelief

'NO WAY….NO FUCKING WAY! NO, OH MY WORD NO! Wait…' Terris was in a fit of rage, but the be angrily began to move forward towards Nick 'WHY WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY TO TELL ME SOMETHING AS IMPORTANT…?'

'Boss, I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. Please' Nick begged. Terris calmed down

'Alright…I literally have no choice. I've pissed about with Elisha too much, I just don't know if she can be loyal to me'

'So what are you saying?'

Terris' tone turned sinister

'I'm gonna have to kill her…'
