5th Chapter

The following few days, Elisha was seen exiting an attorney's office on a bright morning, with Kaya in tow. Elisha took a deep breath.

'Babes, i hope you know what you're doing' Kaya declared

'Yes, I know. I want that bastard locked up' Elisha replied 'Gosh, this whole thing is doing a number on my head, i can't even think straight'

'Serious? Well I know what I'd do if i were you'

'i'm sure you're gonna tell me' Elisha declared

'Alright, I think we should go on a vacation somewhere. Somewhere hot and exotic like Majorca or Ayia Napa or something' Kaya grinned

'Easier said than done, travel equals hassle and struggle and all of that' Elisha replied as the women continued their walk.

'Elle, man! Come on, the lawyers and the police said that you will have to wait till up to three months as they do an investigation. Even the three months isn't confirmed and might develop into "Until further notice" which is bullshit. You deserve a vacation, with all that shit with Terris, it's the least you can do for yourself'

Elisha took a deep breath and had a thought

'You know what? You're right. Fuck it, let's do this'

'That's my chick!' Kaya grinned as she hugged Elisha 'Oh my fucking word, I need to do a LOT of shopping, man. Most of my wardrobe is busted as shit, my garments needs serious updating'

'I hear that' Elisha laughed as the women continued to strut in the distance.

Later that night, Damika was seen carrying shopping bags to her apartment. She appeared rather tired as she spent most of the day shopping for necessities for the house. Damika reaches her apartment and opens the door. The place was dimly lit. Suddenly a camouflaged figure crept up on Damika and covered her mouth from behind. The figure dragged Damika to the living room and threw her hard onto the sofa. Damika was pretty shaken.

'Please don't kill me' She muttered 'I don't have much'

'Don't lie to me Damika, and plus I ain't here to rob you' The voice of the figure growled. Damika then realised who was behind the voice. She then flashed her mobile phone light at the figure and was disgusted. It was Terris.

'What the fuck do you want, man! You're the last person I'd ever want to see' Damika spat in an unimpressed manner.

 Terris then brought out a box cutter and approached Damika in a threatening manner.

'Do not make any sudden movements or I will not hesitate to cut you up' Terris growled

'Oh my word, you fucking DEMON…You really are evil. What the fuck do you want?'

'Long story short, where the fuck is your sister?"

'What? You two had a row or something? Ain't my problem, I don't fucking care about what you two do. Now get out of my place, now!'

'You idiot bitch! Do you know who you're dealing with?' Terris growled

'Yeah…I know exactly who I'm dealing with. I'm just praying that Elisha finally saw sense to see what kind of man you really are, and for her sake, I pray she does a runner'

Terris was getting increasingly annoyed as he got closer to Damika in a split second and aggressively held the sharp blade against her neck.

'Now, I ain't fucking with you, Damika…You better tell me where the fuck Elisha is or I will not hesitate to spill all your guts on this carpet floor'

Damika then became genuinely fearful for her life

'Terris, honestly I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE IS!' 

'You really don't value your life, do you?' Terris evilly laughed. Damika begun to shiver but then her phone began to ring. Terris evilly smiled and grabbed the phone of of Damika. He saw that it was a text message from Elisha stating:

Hey, sis. I knw we havnt been close these past few yrs. I really am grateful for u. Just letting u knw that i'll b going on a little vacation for some time. I promise to catch up with u properly. U was right. Luv u x

'Interesting…' Terris declared 'Well, I don't need you anymore Damika. You're pretty useless so how about I just kill you for fun?'

Damika begun to shiver nervously. Terris smiled as he brought down the blade from Damika's neck. Damika took a deep breath as Terris rose to his feet.

'Where are you going?'

'THAT DON'T CONCERN YOU, SO DON'T ASK' Terris barked. Terris then took Damika's phone and begun to walk

'Oi, give me back my phone!' Damika angrily declared. Terris then got to Damika's landline and cut the cord. Damika was angered but helpless. Terris then left the apartment. Damika wiped her face in anger and frantically went to her bedroom.

Almost two weeks later, Elisha and Kaya were in summer attire with bags in abundance.

'I'm so looking forward to this shit, man. Been locked up in England for way to long' Kaya joked as she took a sip of her water bottle.

'Same here, all this stress with Terris and that my brain deserves a breather' Elisha declared

'That's my girl! Do you reckon there will be any good looking guys there?' Kaya asked

'I don't see why not?' Elisha said unconfidently. Kaya sensed that something was bothering her

'Babes, what's up? Don't tell me you're still thinking about Terris?'

'Kaya, you don't understand. He was the love of my life, no matter how cliche that shit sounds, I loved the guy, you know. But shit got too damn rough and…Man, i don't know'

'Nah, I understand. It was a long term thing, that shit takes time to heal. This holiday is the one to do it!' Kaya grinned

'Love you, Kaya, man!' Elisha exclaimed as she hugged her friend. The women then lined up to attain their tickets.

Meanwhile, a man in plane technician attire came out from the plane, evident that he was fixing the plane. He walked and met up with another guy, who happened to be Terris.

'Nice one…what happened to the real technician?' Terris asked

'He's tied up in the boot of the car…when you think I should let him go?' The guy asked

'I'll have a little talk with him…By talking I mean threaten the fuck out of his life so that his mother will feel the threat, you get me?' 

'I get you, boss' The man laughed 'Trust me, that plane ain't flying far for shit. It will never make that destination'

'Nice work' Terris evilly grinned as the two men walked into the distance.
