Rosalie had woken up to a room full of grown men in various uncomfortable looking sleeping positions. Her brain felt fuzzy as she tried to think back to what had happened. She was in a hospital room- that much was clear. Her throat was hurting, and her chest. There was also a throbbing pain in her knee, and her stomach was causing her discomfort too. It took a while, but as she surveyed the scene in front of her, the memories came flooding back.

The baby.
Calum.
The cliff.

Then she began to panic.
Was Calum dead? Was the baby dead? Was she dead? Do they know about the baby? Why is no one awake?

Then, in an instant, Tom was by her side. His movement had woken the majority of the people in the room. Her panic attack subsided with Tom's help, and she began to think he must believe that he was only good for being an anxiety relief.
"Thanks." She spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. Her throat felt raw, and she assumed that it must have been due to her swallowing water.
"Don't mention it."

"When were  you going to tell me that you were pregnant?" Reidy's voice spoke firmly and broke a long silence. Rosalie's heart dropped into her stomach. "Or were you never gonna tell me? You found out yesterday when you came to the doctor, panicked and told Calum then you both decided to kill yourselves? Was that the plan? Did you really think that killing yourselves was easier than just talking to me?" He snapped. Rosalie narrowed her eyes.
"It wasn't like that." Reidy shook his head.
"You're unbelievable. I thought I was helping. Why would you do this?"

"Calum raped me." She shouted, interrupting her fathers rant. "When I went to his a little while ago, somehow I passed out when we were talking and when I woke up my shirt was inside out and he was tying my shoes again. I didn't realise. That was the day you sent Jesse to come and get me. It was only yesterday that I realised because I haven't been with anyone else since I've been here. I went to him again yesterday to confront him, and I know it was stupid but I didn't know what else to do. I can't remember all the details but one minute we're talking in his car, then the next..." She trailed off, her eyes growing teary and her heart racing again. The monitor beeped loudly as her heart rate raced, but she calmed slightly when Tom grabbed her hand, reminding her that she was safe.

There was a silence again. Rosalie scanned their faces. Reidy looked shellshocked. They all did. But Jesse looked like he felt guilty. Picking up on this, she spoke up.
"If Jesse and Koby hadn't come to get me when they did, I don't know what would've happened to me." She couldn't help but let the tears fall now.

Almost instantly, she was embraced in the largest hug she had ever felt. Everyone in the room was hugging her, and for the first time in forever, she felt truly loved.

-//- Hello, everyone. I know I have been quiet lately but I had a revelation. By me moping around and feeling depressed and sorry for myself, I took a break from writing. This made me feel worse. By isolating myself I had taken away the one thing that, without fail, makes me feel better- writing. So I'm back. Updates may be shorter than usual and less frequent for a short while but I promise they will come and I am going to make it up to you all for abandoning my story for a short while! I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Don't forget to leave me a comment to give feedback & maybe vote if you enjoyed it! I'll speak again very soon! -//-
