More Strangers

There we so many people sitting in the living room! Why? I looked around and then I saw it. There was a banner that said happy birthday on it. There was a cake sitting on the table and balloons everywhere.

Everyone jumped up and ran over to us. I had counted about 33 strangers running towards us asking all kinds of questions. They were wanting to know what happened and if we were all okay.

I buried my face into Mikey's shirt because I was scared. I didn't know any of these people. I also tightened my hands on his shirt. I swear it is a miracle that I didn't rip it.

Mikey noticed I was scared and started shushing me. I hadn't even noticed I started crying. He turned towards Gerard and without saying anything Gerard took me into his arms bridal style.

He pushed past everyone and telling them we would be back. As we walked away he started singing softly. I didn't know the song he sang but it was sweet.
