Chapter 7

Canaan and April finished training with the guys. Canaan felt extremely happy that day, but everything started to downfall. It was 6:30 in the evening. Canaan and April went to Canaan's appartment. When they got inside Canaan and April saw Auntie Barbara crying, and saw two police detectives. They looked at them.

"What's wrong?" Canaan asked her. Her Auntie moved over and patted the seat next to her.

"Come and sit down." Her Auntie told her. Canaan looked at April.

"I think I should leave." April suggested. Canaan agreed.

"Yeah. Bye see you and the others tomorrow." Canaan waved April goodbye. After April left Canaan did what she was told and sat next to her Auntie. She then looked at the officers.

"What's going on?" Canaan asked.

"Hello Miss my name is detective Richardson and this is my partner detective Kimberly. We would like to ask you a few questions." Richardson said.

"O-Okay." She answered confused.

"When was the last time you talked to your parents?" He asked.

"About two weeks ago." Canaan answered.

"Did they sound or say anything scared or concerned?" Kimberly asked.

"No. Can someone please tell me what's going on? And why are you guys talking about my parents?" Canaan asked the detective's. They gave her a said look.

"Yesterday your parents where making a trip to Japan, but something happened." Richardson said.

"What happened?" Canaan asked. The detectives looked at each other. Kimberly sighed and pulled out a medium size box that was burnt up. He hand it to Canaan. It had a mailing address on it. It was hard to read, but she could read it. The address was her Auntie's address and it had her name. She opened the box and found a red rectangular music box. She looked at the detectives.

"What is this?" Canaan asked.

"That was the only thing we found in the wreckage." Richardson said.

"What weckage? What happened to my parents?" Canaan asked and was scared of the answer.

"Last night someone sabotaged the plane that your parents were on." Richardson said.

"Please don't tell me." Canaan started to shake.

"I'm sorry, but your parents dead." Canaan's heart stopped, and her eyes started to water.

"N-No your lying!" Canaan yelled. She grabbed the music and ran to her room. She slammed and bolted lock the door. She grabbed her phone and stared to call her parents, but everytime she did the phone line was dead. She threw her phone to the other side of the room. She sat on her bed crying in hands. She then looked at the red music box. She grabbed it a rubbed her fingers on top of it. When Canaan opened it the song played. She held the box to het chest and cried harder. It wasn't long till her phone beep. From her bed she saw that name. It was April. Canaan ignored it. Soon Leo, Raph, Donny, and Mikey text her as well. Canaan turn her body to the other direction ignoring the text message.

'Who would kill my parent?' She thought.
