Chapter 5

At Hot Topic Canaan introduced Austin to April. April seemed surprised that Canaan could snatch a guy, but Canaan told her it was nothing like that. Canaan and April started to look for clothes for the guys. April have Leo and Donnie, and Canaan had Raph and Mikey. As they was looking for clothes Austin stared at them weirdly.

"Why are you guys shopping for guy clothes?" He asked. April and Canaan looked at each other. They didn't have an answer, but Canaan thought of something. She turned towards him and smiled.

"It's a girl thing." Austin looked at her and smiled.

"Okay." Canaan looked at April and they both let out a deep sigh. They each found something that fit the guys personality. Canaan paid for it and they all went outside.

"Do you guys want a milkshake?" Austin offered. April looked at Canaan, and Canaan looked at her. April struggled.

"Sure." Canaan answered. They then walked down to a dinner that Austin always go at. They sat down in a booth. April and Canaan sat on one end and Austin sat in front of them. A waitress walked up to them and took their order. Austin and April ordered a vanilla milkshake and Canaan got chocolate. They didn't even have to wait for 5 minutes. They got it right after they ordered it. They each got their drinks and started to talk about school. April then changed the subject.

"Austin do you do any martial arts?" She ask taking another sip of her milkshake.

"Yeah. I take ninjutsu. My sensai is really stricked. What about you guys? Since you ask such a question."

"April and I also take ninjutsu, but our sensai is awesome." Canaan said the last part a little childish. April rolled her eyes and Austin laughed.

"Your real cute Canaan." Canaan blushed at the comment. April nudged her arm and gave her a wink. Canaan then rolled her eyes. Then both April and Canaan's phone beeped. They looked at it.

"Does yours say 'hey where are you guys?' by Mikey?" Canaan asked.

"Yep!" April replied. They both sighed.

"It was a pleasure to meet you Austin, but we have to go." April said as they got up.

"Okay see you guys tomorrow." Austin waved at to them goodbye. Underneath the city...

"Canaan April your here!" Mikey ran up to them with open arms. He gave them a bear hug.

"You can let go Mikey." Canaan said tiredly. Mikey let them go and took the bags from them. Canaan and April laughed. Donnie, Leo, and Raph walked in.

"About time you guys showed up." Raph said smartly. Canaan rolled her eyes.

"Sorry Austin offered us milkshakes and we weren't going to pass that up." April said. The turtles looked at them confused.

"Whose Austin?" Leo asked.

"The playboy from our school, and apparently Canaan's friend who is also in the school performance." April answered. Everyone looked at Canaan.

"What?" Canaan questioned.

"When where you going to tell us about this Austin?" Donnie asked.

"I was going to introduced you to him tomorrow." Canaan said. The turtles didn't feel like that was a good idea, especially Raph.

"Come on guys. Please don't tell me you guys are having second thoughts?" She asked sadly.

"Where still going. It's just that are you sure it a good idea to meet Austin?" Leo asked.

"I don't see why not. He's a really good person." Canaan answered. Leo sighed.

"Okay. Whatever you say."

"Yeah." Canaan cheered. She then stopped cheering and remembered something.

"Oh no." Canaan said.

"Oh no what?" Donnie asked.

"I kept forgetting to get my dress from the tailors. I need to got go." Canaan said as she walked to the door.

"Hey wait are we meeting you there or...?" Leo asked.

"Yeah. See you guys tomorrow." Canaan was gone.

"So what do you think this Austin character is like?" Mikey asked.

"I'm not sure." Leo answered.

"What about you April? Since you seen him." Donnie asked.

"Well he nice. He always flirts with Canaan, but I don't think' she likes him like that." April answered.

"We'll find out tomorrow. Now let's she what you and Canaan got us." Leo said as he went through one of the bags.
