Chapter 11

Canaan's POV

"Almost done!" I was staying after school finishing up a test that I had to make up. "Finished!" I yelled. I took the test to my math teacher and ran out the classroom. I haven't seen the turtles for about two weeks. I hope they aren't made for me not showing up for so long. When I ran out the school I bumped into Austin.

"Oh hey, Austin." I said with a smile. I was still felt weird after the date with him.

"Hey Canaan. Where you off too?" He asked.

"To visit some friends that I haven't seen." I answered.

"Oh. Okay I was hoping that we could hang out today." He said.

"Sorry Austin. Maybe another time." I walked past him and went to the lair.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!" I said once I got to the lair. Mikey looked away from the video game he was playing, Leo looked up away from his Space Heros magazine, Donnie peeked out of the lab, and Raph was nowhere to be seen.

"Canaan!" Mikey, Leo, and Donnie ran up to me. Mikey gave me a bone crushing hug.

"Sorry I haven't shown up. I was trying to catch up on school work." I told them as I pushed Mikey off.

"That's okay Canaan. We're just glad that your here and okay." Mikey said. I smiled.

"So... Where's Raph?" When I asked that everyone frowned.

"He's in the training room thinking about Spike." Leo told me.

"Spike? What happened?! Is he okay?!" I asked worriedly.

"He's fine. In some sorta way." Donnie answered.

"Spike got into some mutagen, and well he turned into Slash." Leo explained.

'Poor Raph.' I took in a deep breath, and headed to the training room.

"Canaan! What are you doing?!" Leo asked.

"I'm going to talk to Raph." I dropped my bag on the ground and went into the training room. I saw Raph at the punching bag. His fist punched the bag angerily. I noticed that he didn't see me walk into the room. I walked right behind him, and tapped his shoulder. Wrong move. Raph turned around ready to punch me. I blocked it, but It caused me to stubble a little. Raph then notice it was me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked not even happy to see me.

"I came to visit, and to tell you I'm sorry about Spike." I answered. His face seemed angry.

Normal POV

"Did Leo tell you to talk to me?" He asked.

"No." Canaan answered. It was silent, but Raph broked the silence.

"So... how was it?" Canaan seemed confused.

"How was what?"

"Don't play dumb! The date with that Austin boy!" Raph yelled.

"It was alright. Wait a minute, when did this became about me?!" Canaan yelled back.

"Wasn't everything?"

"No! What's with the rude attitude? All I came was to see if you were okay."

"There's nothing wrong with my attitude! And who asked you to see if I was okay! I never asked!"

"I'm a friend! I can if I want too!"

"I was never your friend!" After Raph yelled that Canaan's angry face became to a painful one.
