ARI'S POV-

I climbed out of the car, almost hitting my head on the top of the car, again. As I walked out of the car I felt tears coming to my eyes for about the millionth time this morning. But I held them back, fumbling in my bag for my house keys. I was delirious, there was no way Harry could love me... Right?

I pulled out a small piece of paper, smiliing. It must've been that note Harry gave me, that first day, when everything changed. I unfolded it and furrowed my eyebrows. This wasn't the same note. It said:

My month is over beautiful. I'm sorry I have to leave, I really am. Five months will go by quicker than you think, and I will call you every day that I can. Please don't leave me, I will come back no matter what. I wanted to save this for the right time, but what other time is there than now?
I love you Ari. XxHazza

Okay, I was crying. But this time it was from happiness. How could Harry think that I would ever leave him, he is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Wait wait wait, hold up! Harry loves me? HOLY SHIT HARRY LOVES ME! Harry loves me.

Do I love him?

I hate leaving him, and whenever I'm with him he makes me feel so happy. We can spend hours together talking about nonsense, but those conversations always make me smile the most. The little things he does... The good morning texts, the tight hugs, the kisses on the forehead, the way he squeezes my hand tightly. The way he can read my mood without me saying a word. All those little things now felt like big things. Huge things. And the way my heart flutters at his touch and the feeling that overtakes me everytime I make eyecontact with him...

God I love him.

Yes, I am oozing cheese right now but I don't give a damn. Smiling weakly, I grabbed my keys and slowly unlocked the door.

'Shit!' I shouted, jumping at the sight of my two best friends, I hate jumpscares! They were both standing at the door with their arms open wide. Instead of saying anything, I just let them pull me in a huge hug.

'We saw on twitter, One Direction aren't coming back to Sydney for 5 months. This must be so tough for you Ari but we are here for you ok?' Candy said. I pulled back and looked at them weirdly. What did they mean... Why did they mention One Direction? What is going on!

'What do you mean?' I said, trying to process what was happening, then it struck me as Indie said, 'We know everything, and there is no point in denying it. I would be angry but you don't need that right now.' They both looked at me in the eyes, smiling. I honestly have the best friends in the world. I tried to speak but my ability to talk seemed to fade. My friends were looking at me, waiting for me to say something.

'Thank you,' I breathed, 'thank you so much, for not getting mad at me and... And for everything. I love you guys!' We all pulled into a big girly group hug. Before getting a chance to ask how on Earth they knew about Harry and I, Candy saw the note Harry left me in my hand and pulled it from my grip. 'GIVE IT BACK!' I screamed, chasing her all around the house, but it was too late. She had already read it.

'Holy shizzles Ari! He loves you? You have a lot of explaining to do!' Candy shouted, shoving the note in Indie's face so that she could read it too.

'Ok, fine. I guess I owe you guys an explanation anyway...' I said, preparing myself for a very long story.

'How about a good old movie night tonight, yeh?' Indie said, dragging me to the couch.

Candy sprung on her feet and shouted, 'I'LL GET THE POPCORN! AND THE ICE-CREAM! AND THE CHIPS! AND THE-'

'Shut up! We get the point,' Indie huffed. I laughed, my hand twitching. I wanted to call Harry so badly, what if he was joking about loving me? Great, now I have to sit here and wait till he lands! Great, just great...

HARRY'S POV-

'Calm down mate it's not that long!' Louis said, patting me on the back.

'Man you are like, hyperventilating! What happened?' Zayn said, looking me in the eyes. I looked at the ground, hearing the voice on the plane tell us we were about to take off.

'It's nothing,' I said to Zayn, knowing he wouldn't buy it. The truth is, I actually was freaking out. I just don't know what on Earth I was thinking, its only been a month! There is no way a girl like her would love me. What the hell was I thinking? She is gonna hate me now and I just screwed everything up. I put my head in my hands, trying not to think about it.

'Ok, what the hell happened Harry?' Liam said, getting up from his seat. There was no point in argueing, I may as well tell them now.

'Before we left, I left Ari a note...' I started. I took a breath before finishing, 'and on it, I told her that... That I love her.' I took a deep breath, keeping my gaze on the ground.

'Well...' Niall started to say. He never finished. I let go of a breath that I had been holding on for too long, damn now I'm dizzy. I got up to get some space, I couldn't take this awkward silence any longer.

'Wait Hazz don't go,' Liam said. I paused, listening to what he was saying, 'are you sure you love her? I mean I wouldn't want you to get hurt.'

'Yeah. But I guess if you love her then, that's a good thing right?' Niall said. I turned to face my friends.

'If you love her, then I'm really happy for you. We are really happy for you. We're really happy for both of you,' Louis said, smiling.

'What if I just screwed everything up? It's only been a month, what if she doesn't even love me back?' I said, starting to panic again.

'Mate, if you care about her that much she won't hate you. You will just have to find out for yourself what she thinks but I think you did the right thing,' said Niall, giving me a tight hug.

'We can facetime her when we land, OK?' Louis said, with a goofy smile plastered across his face. I smiled, sitting back down in my seat. I was about to turn on a movie to get my mind off Ari and all the lads were getting comfortable too. It was going to be a long flight!

'Wait Harry,' Zayn said, sitting back up. I turned my head to face him and the others. 'Just promise us one thing.'

'What?' I wondered.

Somehow, all the boys seemed to know what Zayn was about to say because they were all nodding at him.

What the hell was going on...

It was a while before Zayn continued, 'Just promise us... Promise that you won't break her heart.'
