Shizaya - Control

Chapter 3

Shinra was lovingly sitting next to Celty as they watched the latest news on tv. The screen flashed as they handed it off to a reporter talking about a recent bombing incident at a famous local corporation, X Co.

Celty typed into her phone, showing Shinra. [You might be getting some customers because of this. There are many people there that don't want to go to the hospital]

Shinra snuggled closer to Celty and said lovingly,"Im so glad your thinking of me Celty~ But no worries! I'll be sure to refuse them so we can spend as much time as we want together!"

A puff of anger came out from the headless rider as she threw Shinra off the couch using her Dullahan powers. [Be a little more considerate! Plus what about Shiuzo, do you plan on just kicking him out in the state he's in! He was barely alive when I picked him up. I was worried he would die on the way here!]

Shinra smiled cheekily, rubbing the back of his head where it had hit the floor."Don't worry, don't worry. He will be just fine in a couple of hours. Knowing him, I wouldn't be surprised if he came busting through our door right now even with such severe injuries."

As if on cue Shizuo came bursting through the door, breaking it in the process. Celty quickly got up to greet him while Shinra just slouched further onto the floor, depressed by the loss of yet another door.

[Are you alright Shizuo? You woke up quite faster than we expected] Celty typed quickly showing the angry looking Shizuo.

"How long was I out?" The bartender asked, wincing as he sat down on the couch.

[Its been about a day since I picked you up. How are you doing? Do you need me to get you anything?]

Shizuo shook his head as he relaxed into the couch."So, what happened?" He asked, hoping deep down that the whole conversation he had with Izaya before was just some illusion.

Shinra adjusted his glasses, standing up next to Celty."You were brought here half dead with a gunshot wound near your stomach. Your lucky it wasn't that deep or you would've been dead. It really would've been nice to dissect your dead body though, see where that hidden strength comes from."

Celty used her Dullahan powers to bind Shinra, making him fall to the floor in a muffled panic. [Shinra! Don't say such rude things!] She huffed out, typing furiously.[Isn't Shizuo your friend? You shouldn't treat him like that]

"How did you find me?" Shizuo spoke over them in a dark voice, making both tense up.

[Well, I j-just happened to be passing by when I found you...]

"Why would you be in a residential area?" Shizuo questioned further, making the two lovers uneasy.

Celty puffed out a sigh, typing into her phone. [The truth is, Izaya had called Shinra and told him where you were]

Shizuo growled and muttered to himself,"Fucking flea" before leaving the house, slamming and breaking the other door on his way out.

'How dare he do something like that. Now it makes me feel like I owe him something' Shizuo thought, reaching into his pocket to find his cigarettes. Instead, he pulled out a piece of paper that said:

You owe me one Shizu-chan~ ♡

"Thats scheming bastard," Shizuo muttered, crushing the paper in his hand. "I'll kill you..."

"IZAYA!" Shizuo yelled at the top of his lungs, the sound echoing off the buildings around him.
